Welcome to my little diary. I'm hoping this will help me on my journey.
I've done Slimming World a fair few times before - there isn't a class in my town that I've not been to!
I've been a big girl for as long as I can remember, going to my first SW class as a teenager.
I got married in June 2012, and now we're looking to start a family so this weight loss is now on!
I restarted my Slimming World journey on Saturday 28th June 2014. I have a minimum of 10 stone to lose. I am aiming to lose 2lb a week.
This is it now. There's no going back. I know that I have many hurdles that will get in my way, but all I can do is my best.
I've bought a "goal" dress. It's not my final goal, which I think makes it more achievable. It was a bargain, and when I ordered it I was worried it would come and I'd take one look at it and be disheartened. It arrived, and it's achievable! It's hanging up in the spare bedroom to spur me on day by day.
I'm going to try my best to keep a weekly diary here; I'm hoping it will give me the encouragement to stick at it. I don't even mind if nobody reads it - though if you do, feel free to comment or give me tips etc! I'm doing this for me :) I know it won't be easy, but I am fed up of being overweight, my joints hurting and being sluggish all the time.
No more excuses!!! Bring it on!!!!!!

ive got a big goal too, and am as determined to stick to. I would also like to be able to have children in the near future, so we have that in common too.
look forward to hearing about your progress. I'm just on week 1 at the mo, my first weigh in will on Monday. I'm doing slim fast at least until Xmas to get me going. I'm too good at cheating, I need the strict approach and set meals/shakes!!
Another week on, and I'm another 2.5lb down. 23.5lb lost now.
It's been an odd week with the Bank Holiday. Hubby made dinner last Sunday and followed the recipe exactly.
Only, Gordon Ramsay said to cook the beef off in goose fat, so he did!
Monday wasn't the best either.
I was fully back on plan on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday minimising any weekend gain.
Thursday I was off, as hubby was having a wisdom tooth out, so he didn't eat for the rest of the day. I made speed soup in the afternoon and had some for dinner.
My friend has now joined my SW class with me, which is one more reason for me to want to stay to group every week.
Hubby has told me he'll buy me a bike when I get my Club 10, so that's what I'm going for!
