    Leotards and legwarmers!! My journey

    Well have moved to a new diary here in the slimming world group after several failed attempts at vlcd diets.
    Joined slimming world last night so a Monday weigher.
    Now to my tiltle Leotards and legwarmers!!!! What better motivation to lose weight once and for all than for your little (in every sense of the word) sister to announce that her Hen Do theme in February is FAME!!!!!
    Shudder at the thought lol xx
    So after taking a long hard look at myself and failing again to stick with shakes only, 3lbs in 6 days of starving is not sustainable lol xx, I have committed myself to a lifestyle change. I knkw from previous experience that slimmingworld does work but I need to commit longer than the first couple of stone and stay to group!!!
    So went shopping before joining last night so that I have afresh new day ahead. Even made sopu last night carrot and pepper so going to blend that now and put in my flask.
    Plan for food is as follows.: Breakfast Porride oats and milk (Hex a & B), Lunch Soup and boiled egg salad. Snacks chopped up friuit salad of strawberries, apple,grapes,mango and plum.
    Will decide on tea later. Plenty of water and black coffee.
    So here goes Good luck to me and everyone else for a fab day xxx

    Just had my lunch now and full up from a lovely homemade salad and soup. Amazing what a wee bit of preparation in the morning can do lol xx. Hoping that the weather stays relatively dry as wanting to go a nice walk with Tara(11 month old pup) and will last longer if weather stays good. Used a couple of sins on a balsamic dressing for the salad but wont be doing it again. Not worth the sins so will stick to the fat free ranges from now on.
    Have a lovely prepped fruit salad as well but will keep that till afternoon snack as feeling quite full. Reading some stories on here during lunch to keep me busy and motivated. 3 bottles of water down too so trying to keep that up. xx

    Well have had a good day. Came home from work and made hubby and the boys a stir fry for tea. Got changed while they were eating then went out a walk with Tara and managed an hour and 10 minutes so really pleased. Walked over the hils so up and down as well, all the more calories burned lol xxx
    Back in now and have had another cup of homemade soup and some fat free noodles xx
    Bag prepped with fruit and salad for tomorrow xx

    Another day dawns lol xx
    Well heres to another good day positive thoughts. Plans for today are Porridge and milk for breakfast and an apple. Have fruit salad homemade and a ff yoghurt for snacks. Soup and omlettte for lunch and decide on tea later.
    Task for tonight is try on some dresses and see what doesnt look too hideous for anight out on Saturday. Having a work reunion night with some people i havent seen for over ten years and not really looking forward to it due to my weight.
    Trying only to have 5 sins a day so that i have abit to play with on saturday as i am sure copious alcohol will be involved lol xx

    Thanks Teasel tried my best but the lure of food to great to sustain the shakes lol xx
    Really busy day at work so not as much fruit or water today and ended up working late till 9pm so Chef made me alovely salad. but lovely homemade coleslaw and egg mayo as well so probably well over sins but all salad veg baby potatoes and pickled veg free so could have been worse xx
    Eyes really tired tonight think a bit of overstrain so keeping short tonight. Bring on tomorrow xx

    Aww, hope you had a better day today You're doing so well! The mention of egg mayo reminded me of a nice SW recipe?! I don't know if it could be deemed a recipe lol! Potato salad made by mixing cottage cheese with potatoes, it works really well and if it's seasoned nicely it's great! I fooled my BBQ guests with it! I used the one with chives for flavour, lovely!
