My Skinny Jeans Challenge

Good morning all

Well, after eight months or so off plan (and a 15.5lb weight gain!), I rejoined SW on Saturday morning. My weight has gone on gradually over the eight months so I wasn't really that aware of it but over the past couple of weeks I've struggled to get my work trousers fastened. To think that they are a size 12 (a generous 12 as well!) and at my lowest weight I was (just!) in a size 10, I realised that it was time to get back on track.

My aim is to get to 10st7lb by 29 January 2015. The reason for that specific date?? Well, I had a long weekend in London in January of this year and while I was there I bought myself a lovely pair of skinny jeans. Unfortunately, they now no longer fit but I am going back to London on 29 January next year and I'd love to be able to pack (and wear!) them.

I went to a completely new class on Saturday which was so unbelievably different to my last class and I think I'm going to love it. The C was so welcoming, as were his mum and dad who help him out each week. Already he has added me to the class' online forum and called me to check how I was going in the first few days.

I've already started Body Magic as well and have taken to walking with my other half. We took a walk yesterday afternoon and then one again last night.

My plan for this diary is to post my food plan each day which I will then update with any changes. I'll also post any other good or bad feeling and would ask that you feel free to drop by and say hello or give me a good kick up the backside if necessary! Minimins was fantastically helpful to me last time and I'm sure it will be the same this time around.

Breakfast Starbucks skinny cappuccino (3 syns)
Lunch Toastie (2xHexB) with cheese (1xHexA) and tomato followed by a banana
Afternoon Melon
Dinner Vegetable chow mein (8 syns??)
Evening 15g Butterkist sweet popcorn (3 syns)

Lunch Homemade lentil and carrot soup with a wholemeal roll (1xHexB)
Afternoon Crusty roll (10 syns - :eek:) with butter (4 syns) and tea (part HexA)
Dinner Vegetable and butterbean stew with mashed potato and garden peas
TOTAL - 14 syns

Body Magic -
3 mile walk across the Forth Road Bridge + 2 mile walk through the park

Dinner SW garlic mushroom pasta made with Philidelphia Light (1xHexA)
Evening 4x Aldi rye crispbreads (1xHexB) with Philidelphia Light (part HexA)

Morning Kiwi fruit and a clementine
Lunch Jacket potato (3 syns for oil) with cheese (1.5xHexA) and Quavers (5.5 syns)
Afternoon Aldi dark rye crispbread (1.5 syns)

Body Magic - 3 mile walk
 
Body Magic Challenge - Walk around Central Park

I signed up to the walk around Central Park Body Magic challenge on the SW website last week and following my two walks at the weekend and another one last night, I've now completed the 6.1 miles :)

Next up is crossing the English Channel which is slightly more of a challenge at 21.3 miles. If I carry on how I have been though, I'm hoping to have it completed by mid-October.

Weekend Naughtiness...

Didn't manage to update at the weekend but to summarise:

I had my full 15 syns on Saturday, which included coffee with a friend, a takeaway and a trip to the cinema, so I'm quite pleased with myself.

I went over by 5 syns yesterday becuase I couldn't resist a bottle of beer last night :rolleyes: I'll make up for it over the next couple of days though.

Back on track this week but I'm going for dinner at a friend's house on Thursday so I'll try and go easy on the syns before that to allow for whatever she makes....
