Living abroad with slimming world..

Hi guys :)
I dont want to bore you all with my story as ive written this introduction a ridiculous amount of times! But in a nutshell lost alot of weight last year for my wedding in Malta, went from 15,10 to 10,7. After the wedding put on 3 stone so 13.7... I'd had enough of my job and everything about england so we decided to go back to Malta and live there, so 3 weeks later we left! First month i lost a stone (woohoo) got down to 12.6 and then gained it back (boooo) Went back to england recently for 6 days and put half a stone on (grrrr!!!) So i decided to put my arse into gear and get going properly with SW I have tried it briefly before in U.K but never managed to stick to it, its easier here to so hopefully i can... The past few months ive attempted VLCD but its too hot to even go there and it just makes me feel ill!!

Ok that was a long nutshell :what: But anyway, will log EVERYTHING on here, need to be honest even if that means days i havnt done good. I have left my slimming world stuff bck in england with some things that still need to be shipped over so please bear with me as im going off memory, if you see anything wrong please please let me know.

Ok so today i am having ...
Breakfast - Weetabix banana(7.5 syns) with semi skimmed milk (healthy extra)
Dinner - Ham Salad butty with brown bread(healthy extra) and light salad cream (salad tomato and lettuce) ( 2syns for salad cream?)
Tea - Garlic and herb chicken breast with with either savoury rice or boiled potatoes, not decided yet!
Snacks will be fat free yog, banana, 2 small lotus biscuits (3 syns)

Syn total - 12.5 syns!

Well what a morning! Had to go back to the uniform shop to change sizes in some of my sons uniform.. 1 hour bus ride at 35 degrees can feel abit much! and then an hour back!! Anyway its done now :)

Ok so todays menu...
Breakfast - Banana
Dinner - Turkey salad butty (brown bread healthy extra) light salad cream 2 syns
Tea - BBQ chicken salad

Snacks - I had about 8 mc donalds chips and a bite of my sons hamburger!! couldnt resist i was starving!! I dont know how many syns for ths? Shall i go 8?
Sugar free jelly
Light hot chocolate sachet (im sure this was only 2 syns when i used to do it? (semi skimmed milk, healthy extra)

So i think around 12 syns for today.. maybe a little more?

But great news i weighed myself a day early it should of been tomorrow but i couldnt resist. 3lb down woohoo!! back in the 13s! So happy!!!

I did SW last year and lost weight, but then fell off the bandwagon. After a few months travelling and now living in Thailand the weight has crept back on, so I've decided to start it again. The only problem I am having is getting hold of some of the ingredients to make meals - and obviously not being able to read Thai for the nutritional information! How are you finding sourcing products?
 
Hey! Yep i am struggling a little... noodles i have no clue what i can and cant have... Luckily alot is in english here, 3x more expensive though :-(
Im having the basics really... beans on toast, jacket poatoes, salads, fruit, fat free yogs, veg, meat... I did bring some mug shots with me, be gutted when they run out!! xx

Ahh, it's really hard. I loved Mullerlights at home, sugar free jelly and Frylight - can't get any of it. I wanted to make the half a syn cake for my sweet tooth, but I can't get any fat free fromage frais or quark here. I think when I next go home I will have to bring some things back with me. One plus is that the fruit is cheaper :)
 
Yeah frylight here is like 5euro!! I got my auntie to send me over 20 sachets of jelly from aldi haha. Deffo stock up when u go back!
That's good about fruit! Wish I could say the same... 2euros for 3 bananas :-o xx
 
I know! And I'm so used to having strawberrys all year round not seasonal :'(

Plans changed a little had a tuna salad instead of a mug shot!

Really enjoying doing a diet I can actually eat proper food on!! Hope I can continue with the losses!! Xx

Ah i know does feel like that sometimes doesnt it... feels hard to believe sometimes!!

SO last night i put our jacket potatoes in to have with garlic chicken for tea... The cooker kept tripping the electric out..Its done it a few times but last night it tripped soon as it went back on so we had to abandon ship and forget the cooking. Hubby and my son got takeaway... I had beans on toast! So proud of myself!!

So todays menu is...

Breakfast - Banana weetabix and semi skimmed milk (healthy extras)
Dinner - Tuna salad (2 syns for light salad cream)
Tea - IF MY COOKER WORKS!(electrician coming out this morn..) I will be having garlic chicken and jacket potato.
Snacks - Grapes, Sugar free jelly, 2xlotus biscuits 3 syns

Total syns - 5
