My final SW journey

Hi all

Some may remember I have been on and off SW for years! Initially I lost a lot of weight with SW but then have struggled since. I have rejoined group this week with a fresh determination and bought a 12 week countdown. I have committed to doing my best in these 12 weeks.

Something I have come to realise is I make a lot of excuses. I have also seen how easy it is for others to do the same, lots of people in the group I joined were making statements like "women comfort eat", "women have more distractions" and I just thought to myself this doesn't have to be true. It is easier maybe to make am excuse and still eat chocolate, it tastes good after all, but I'm hoping to learn to break this pattern of excuses and really enjoy proper food.

Yesterday was day 1 and I was hungry. I need to get organised with some free snacks. But today I'm determined to do this right.

Hello and welcome back!! I also have been on and off with dieting plans in my past;-(( The last month was difficult for me and I forgot about my diet(( But now i am coming back and promise to myself it will be last time;-) Wish you best of luck!!

Just made the most amazing morrow an stew and all free/superfree. Feel like I'm getting more into this now. Have all my syns left still so I'm going to have a 3 syn yoghurt and a freddo :)

Day 3 going well. I'm even sitting in McDonald's with just a coffee and pineapple stick :)

Need to buy more veg again though I forgot how much stuff you have to buy!

Ok so here's today's food. Had a good day and enjoyed what I have eaten :) I think I can do this!

B- dry fried egg, wholemeal roll (b+1), 2 slices of ham, grilled tomato slices, ketchup (1)

L- coffee (2) pineapple (not a lot I know but we are out and I couldn't find anything good )

D- beans, spring onion, 2 bgty sausages (2) mash, half tub low low mixed in (6) and mixed berried and muller light for dessert

Used my A choice for homemade iced latte

Great day 12 syns total :)

I'm feeling really positive being back on plan and now feel in the swing of sw eating. Today I went to farmers market and got loads of lovely fruit. I'm eating when hungry even if I'm thinking I shouldn't, and some days have eaten more than others. But I'm trusting in the plan :)

Food plan today

B- mixed berries , lf yoghurt (1.5), mackeral in tom sauce, 3 ryvita (b)

L- spicy veg stew, melon and grapes

Dinner - free turkey bolognaise loaded with veg, chilli pasta, grated cheese (a)

X factor nibbles .... mixed berries and free yoghurt, 16 olives (2)

Other syns: coffee (1), half cupcake (7)

Can't believe it's Sunday already.

Today I have really enjoyed being on sw and realised that now I have more time to cook it is much more doable than when I was working. Ok being a student means I will struggle a bit financially but I am trying to use my food wisely and find those bargains.

Today I went to an induction social as I start my course tomorrow. It was a cream tea and I had planned to have no syns all day and enjoy one scone. But when I got there it was a buffet and it was very easy not to have one and I wasn't that bothered so I just had a tea and coffee. That meant I could have syns for some potato waffles for dinner which I really fancied :) much better choice.

I have made a meal plan for the next few days to stay organised as I start college. My breakfasts and lunches are included in my course so I don't know what that will be like until I'm there tomorrow, but I am going to have to financially incorporate these into my plan. I have been told there are healthy options like salads and jacket potatoes so hopefully I will be Ok.

Food today:

B- banana and coffee (1)
L - turkey bolognaise, potato pie (2)
D- 2 x waffles (5) 2 x eggs, gammon, mushrooms, olive oil (b) and half tub low low (a) ketchup (1)

Later I will have a bowl of berries and a yoghurt with the x factor - which is significantly better than last week's pizza, crisp and wine!

Other syns- freddo (5) tea (1)

Syns - milk (5) mayo (3)

May have son fruit later if I need it. Have also had a banana today.

Scales still not showing a loss so not feeling hopeful for tomorrow which is very unfair :( but will keep at it. May be because totm started but I don't think it normally effects me that much. Oh well we shall see.

Just Wi and lost 4.5lbs! Thank goodness :)
