Hi again everyone, and hello to the newbies. I used to be a regular on here at the start of the year, then a lot of life changes happened, and now I'm 18.5lbs heavier but a whole load happier. I used to have a diary on here but decided to start a new one, as my older one (http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world-weight-loss-diary/328165-total-restart-diary-14.html) just seems so negative now I look back on it.

So here's to new beginnings! I am trying to get my motivation back, and I remember when I was really on the ball I was on here pretty much every day.

In 12 months, I'm going to be going to New Zealand and then Australia for 1-2 years for work. I'm seeing this as a good reason to get motivated to be at target and ready to live without a SW group as they don't have it over there sadly. I would like to be at around 11 stone (not sure though, I'm going to lose the weight and see how I feel as it gets towards there) so 2 stone 8 and 1/2 lbs to go...so 36.5lbs ;)

Am starting off with a cracking day and a weigh in with a loss of 3.5lbs. Lets hope i can keep up the momentum!

25th Sept

(no breakfast as i had a lie in! much needed)
Lunch - bowl of chilli and a roll (3.5)
Dinner - veggie sausage, bean and pumpkin stew with 'garlic bread' (roll cut into slices with garlic frylight and herbs, baked in oven, yum yum)
Snacks - hummous and carrot sticks (5 i think, can't find it on the website so taking a conservative guess), strawberries and raspberries, honey (2), chocolate (3), choc soy milk.
 
Friday was a good day, stayed on plan even at a house party and had 13.5 syns.

Then yesterday happened. I get insomnia from time to time and was wide awake even when everyone else went to sleep on Friday, had to do a carboot sat morn so no sleep. Then the sun came out so I was extra awake!!! Only went to sleep at 11 last night with the help of sleeping tablets!! But this meant that my food was all over the place, anyone that's had insomnia will understand how you aren't really hungry but you need to eat something, and you don't have the energy to cook/do anything. Ended up having a sandwich at lunch with some crisps (only thing I could eat at the car boot!!) and hummous and salad in pitta with chips for dinner. Had a few cereal bars during the day and some fruit...don't think it was *too* bad but I was planning on weighing in on Tuesday next week so not enough time to scrape it back. Might change weigh in to Friday morn (means I can go to this free exercise class on tues too)

Back at work today and have had some sleep lol!

Breakfast - fruit salad, soy yog (2)
Lunch - stir fried rice noodles, sweet and sour sauce sachet (7)
Dinner - veggie sausages, veggie fried rice, salad, sauce (1)
Snacks - melon, oat milk, HEXB cereal bars
 
Bit of a difficult day today, not been *too* bad but over my syns again. Tomorrow will be tricky too as I'm in the van all day. Have done lots of body magic to make up to it though, and will do lots of exercise tomorrow too!
Had about 25 syns, but was lower on syns yesterday so that can even it out.

I'm now finding out my weak spots are days off work when I'm in my van in norwich - I'm finding it hard to stick to plan these days as i have no cooker and rely on eating out or pre packed meals, which will be easier in winter but when its warn, food goes funny very quick. easy to stay on plan at work or at home in london though...
 
Weighed in tonight, and had a maintain which I'm quite happy with as I had 2 difficult days since last Thursday...now got 9 days to my next weigh in, and all of them I'm at work or home in London, which means I'll be on plan. Possibly off to Newbury on sat eve for the night but I'll take my own food and snacks so I can stick to plan...feeling very motivated and wanting to get 8.5lbs off next month :)
 
Yesterday was a good day for food :) was so stressful at work however, got attacked by a client and now I'm in that weird paranoid headspace of waiting for it to happen again. I'm leaving here on the 21st November at the very latest so at least there is a countdown!

D - mushroom and pepper pasta, salad, HEXB garlic bread (0.5)
S - chocolate (6.5), choc oat milk

Today's offerings are hopefully less stress (am at work all day again) and lovely grub:

Made it through work unscathed...food was on plan today too!

Feeling very motivated and inspired, got a personal training session with a mate on sat morn, and tomorrow I have to do about 3/4 hours of lifting and carrying wood, soil and big plants (moving final bits from my ex's down to London - some is going on my allotment which is a short walk from the car park, but some is going to my mums which is up 5 flights of stairs. Got a van load!!)

i just need to plan and keep focused, especially when I go to Newbury. People will be offering me food :/
 
Another good day on plan today - was tempted by crap food but willed myself to stay away lol. Lots more house moving today, so good body magic and about 40 flights of stairs with a load, I'm now feeling strong!!

brunch - veggie sausages, beans, encona sauce and HEXB roll (0.5)
Dinner - savory rice, veggie burgers (1), BBQ sauce (2), salad.
Snacks - malt loaf (5), chocolate (3)
 
woohoo, 2 1/2lbs off last night, and slimmer of the week! tres exciting :)got my 2 1/2 stone award back too, now 6lbs to go until i get my 3 stone award back. ate a bit too much chocolate last night though, so going to flexi syn for the rest of the week!
 
Just finished all the moving - I'm knackered!! Cleared my norwich allotment today which involved lots of 200m walks loaded with wood, fence posts, big pots of plants etc. Am so, so tired, but all that's left is to drop the wood and plants off at my new London allotment on weds eve after work.

Ended up going out for dinner last might, had a veggie curry at weatherspoons oops. No idea on syns - it came with a mini naan and 2 poppadoms :/ I'm going to cut back on my syns until weigh in on Wednesday and I'm hoping all the exercise will help me work off the bloat.
 
Eughh have had an awful few days binging on chocolate. Am super stressed as my job finishes next week (which is great, because i hate it!) but because i'm voluntarily leaving, i can't sign on for any benefits. so I'm stressing about how I'm going to find a job before my paltry savings run out. plus my star week started again yesterday (it only stopped a few before! am coming off hormone injections so i think my body is confused)

am going to weigh in tonight or tomorrow, I'm expecting a gain :(

Only put 1/2lb on, so not too bad really! All set for a good week ahead, am going to do 3 days of sucess express to try and improve my loss for next Monday!
 
Haha, I wish it was that easy :)

My life is really stressful at the min I have a weekend of hell lined up at work (I'm here until Monday morning!!) then my job finishes and I move to London...no job lined up yet, money is tight and I can't sign on for a while as I'll be sanctioned for leaving my shitty job. Arghhhhh

Not been too bad this week, had 29.5 Syns so far this week am saving the rest as a potential stress buffer lol

All the regulars at work are sick or on annual leave this weekend so there's no goodbye cake/biscuits which is a blessing really, although it will be sad to not get to say goodbYe to everyone.

I'm not feeling great myself either, sent someone home with a stomach bug last night and I've been on the loo all day, no signs of it getting any worse yet though so not sure on that one lol! On the flip side my stomach is flat as a board due to expelling my entire digestive system

Not sure when I'll weigh in next week - I'm gonna head to london on monday, probably be too tired to weigh that evening. Might go to this lovely group on Wednesday and buy a countdown as a payday treat...I need to find me a regular group in London now I don't be working in norfolk every other week :)
 
Had a stomach bug last few days so my eating has been really weird. Been over on syns every day but I haven't really had much calories wise (lots of tinned soup) so I think I might get away with a loss next week. Weighed on my mates scales this morning and it was saying a 2.5lb loss but that was in the morning before Id eaten anything. Either way, any sort of loss would be good :)

Last day of my job tomorrow, am very excited!!!!
