Starting again

So I got to target with slimming world (10st2) in nov 2013. I then got married and came back off honeymoon a shocking 11 stone (nope no 4 week round the world trip just 2 weeks away!) I found out I was pregnant less than a week after we got home. So I went wild! Weighed in at the hospital at about 17 1/2 stone! I gave birth to my amazing daughter in august and pretty much immediately went down to 14 1/2 stone. Kept loosing 1/2 a stone every 3 days...I was carrying a LOT of water! And she was a big girl!
I got down to 14 stone by cutting out 2nd breakfast (I got too hungry whilst pregnant!) and started sw at home (too embarrassed to go back to group quite yet) 2 weeks ago. I had my first weigh in on Monday (I am just weighing myself 2 weekly ish) and I had lost 8lbs! Very pleased with that.
This will probably be a mix of rambling and a food diary!
I have been 100% on plan with no more than 10 syns a day (most days being under 5) for over a week. I broke today. 2 days on the run I have been trying to get 1hr to myself to just chill out and time just runs away with me! So I am having a night off. My husband has taken the baby (he's just downstairs and I'm lying on my bed with a glass of wine ? and we are having a takeaway tonight. I don't fancy Chinese or Indian and am toying with pizza or kebab. I figure kebab to be the better choice sw wise (as pizza is usually a large dominos!) so I'll be having a chicken kebab with cheesy chips and garlic mayo and a bottle of wine. I might even have chocolate aswell.
Not the best start ?
 
i find weekends the hardest but i do usually take a cheat meal and still either loss or maintain :)
 
I think it was kind of my weekend! I'm on mat leave at the mo but my husband was off today.
Today has been much better! I had pineapple and yoghurt for my breakfast, mac n cheese for my lunch with spinach and a tangerine. Then for tea we had peppered beef casserole broccoli carrots and mash. Also had 2 alpen lights and a meringue nest with berries and yoghurt and some frozen grapes. So 8 1/2 syns today!
 
I found myself relating to your mini rant lol x i lost 3st a few years back after my second kid and was at a weight i was happy with then two years ago i married and not sure why but have slowly crept up to 13st xx i am joining slimming world again tomorrow x good luck x
 
It's sooo frustrating! I know what I'm like though...once I'm at target I seem to think I'm a naturally thin girl and start eating for 6! Only thing to do is go to slimming world for the rest of my life haha!
Today has been good ... I had melon and yoghurt and an alpen for breakfast. Jacket potato with cheese and beans and spinach for lunch and 2 tangerines. Salmon and asparagus and sauté potatoes for tea. I had 'Eton' mess after tea so 2!1/2 syns for the merengue. Frozen grapes and my other alpen while watching TV tonight :) x

I been naughty today in the fact I had no lunch. Had porridge for breakfast then Rogan Josh curry for tea :D

Today I'll be having melon and yoghurt for breakfast...as soon as I get my bum in gear.
I'm going round to my mums for lunch as we have family who live hours away coming to visit. We have done sandwiches and cake ? I'm going to try and resist the cake (I've made it and it's sitting in my kitchen untouched...didn't even taste the batter!) I did eat a few of the raspberries for decorating it! And for dinner I am doing garlic chicken, potatoes skins with bacon and cheese and corn on the cob and mushrooms. 2 1/2 sys for the garlic chicken...and probably 2 for mayo. I'm saving my HEB for sandwiches and will try and stick to free fillings ie ham and salmon...fingers crossed they are available! Luckily I have a family who only like brown bread!
Fingers crossed my resolve stays strong!
Having a baby is a double edged sword for a diet...I don't have any time to snack...but I am so freaking tired by the end of the day that I struggle with energy to cook!

Arghh it didn't go so well! I was ok with the sandwiches but I are quite a few crisps and a slice of cake! :/
Tea was 6 1/2 syns aswell! Not been a great day but was sooo tempted to go completely wild this evening and I did resorts and tomorrow in straight back in it!

Me too! I had half a melon and yoghurt and an alpen for breakfast, Linda maccartney sausages mushrooms poached eggs and beans with spinach stirred through for lunch and I've got steak and chips and mushrooms for tea. I've also got bearnaise sauce in as a treat (I bought it before my blowout on Monday and slip up yesterday!) it's 13 syns a portion by the 20 cals per syn rule... I can't find it anywhere! I don't really have the space to go a bit over tonight. Think I'll have a quarter instead. I'm just going to prepare the potatoes and then sit down for some tangerines and cuddles with my little girl!

Yum, bearnaise sauce!!! Your meal for tea reminds me that I need to make some SW chips soon. Sounds like you have a great plan to help you not go over.
 
Well chuffed with myself. Planned out a full weeks worth of recipes for next week and may even do online shop too lol x Looking forward to a full sunday dinner tomorrow lol x
 
Well done! I do it every week otherwise I will but loads of rubbish! Also find the online shopping so handy! Helps me not buy loads or try and navigate the supermarket with a 10 week old!
Breakfast today is melon and yogurt again haha.
Lunch I think I'll have a jacket potato with tuna mayo cheese grated carrot and spinach.
Tea I'm going to my mums for a roast so will have 4 syns there for gravy but she will do me sw roast pots! And I'll probably take berries and a merengue and yoghurt for desert! So that'll be 8 1/2 syns. Going to try and just have one alpen today...might not work but hey ho! It's my self imposed weigh in day tomorrow and I am nervous!

Ooh I just looked at that...sounds gorgeous! Might put that down for next week- just depends if my husband will have it! He's funny on things involving potatoes cooked with it. Hates stews etc! I have to do everything minus potatoes and then serve them on the side. X

I know! But half the time when I make things he said he doesn't like it's because he doesn't know what it is or he didn't like how his mum did it...mattesons sausage in a beef stew?!
So far today I've had lunch as planned so 2 syns for mayo. I'll have 4 for gravy and 2 1/2 for a merengue nest so 8 1/2. X
