Hi all,

I start Slimming World tonight, going to a weekly class as I think it will motivate me to stay on track. I have lost 2 stone since this time last year but my eating habits are pretty bad. I need to learn to eat better. I exercise a few times a week (Metafit/swimming/gym) and I love it. My goal is to be 9st 7lbs by the end of July 2015 in time for my holiday to Turkey. Wish me luck xx
 
Good luck :) I start tomorrow I'm joining a class. I'm the same as you I'm a hell of a lot lighter than the last time but I've put weight on since march this year :(
 
Good luck Honey Bee, it's so easily done though! I told the doc I wasnt overweight, I was under tall but he didnt find it funny haha. Good luck for your class tomorrow, I'm kind of nervous about tonight but also looking forward to getting started. Hope it's not too confusing x
 
I've just noticed we are about the same height and weight with the same goal weight :) im a titch too ha I tell ppl I'm 5 foot 2ish when really I'm closer to 5 foot. I'm a bit nervous as well for my class tomorrow just because I've not fine it for a long time and I'm on my own this time. I'm sure we'll both be fine :)
 
We will be, we can spur each other on. I have a night out on Friday so will be having a couple of vodkas but no cocktails this time! Will need to save up my syns and work out how many I'm allowed beforehand x

Also tiny at just 5ft lol well.... As a doctor once took great pleasure in telling me, I'm actually 4ft 11 and 3/4!

I started slimming world last week but am doing it from home.

Hi cmj, good luck with SW. I had my first meeting tonight, thought I might be confused but it all seems pretty straight forward. Weighed in at 12st 10lbs, actually thought it would be 1-2lbs more as it was at end of the day after eating and with clothes on whereas my own scales said 12st 10lbs this morning before food and no clothes!
So day 1 starts tomorrow, I'm going to log everything I eat here and my exercise and see how I go x
 
I weighed myself on the scales at the gym before and was 12:11 so will see what the scales say at class tomorrow. Did you find the class alright?
 
Yeah it was really good. The consultant is lovely and really supportive and all the members seem really nice and friendly. Looking forward to next weeks class and hopefully a good loss. Off shopping tomorrow to stock up on the superfree and free foods x

Subscribing...I signed up today, with the goal of a summer holiday in the sun for the first time in years. I don't think I'll be brave enough for a bikini but want those strappy skimpy sun dresses please!!!

I'm taking my daughters to Corsica. Don't have many details as fortunately we've been invited by the grandparents :)

So looking forward to it!

My day 1 is going well so far, this is todays menu -

B - apple, banana, strawberries with fat free natural yoghurt
L - SW recipe - ham and minestrone soup made with pasta, onions, carrots, veg stock, cannellini beans, passata and ham (very filling)
D - jacket potato and baked beans, side salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber)

Drinks - coffee with skimmed milk (Hex A)

Syns - Tassimo Cappuccino and Tassimo Latte Machiatto Caramel - 3 syns and 5.5 syns = 8.5 syns (think I might have to cut this down to 1 a day to save my syns for other treats)
 
I know we're allowed unlimited amounts of superfree/free food but I dont see how it would work if you ate loads of pasta and potatoes. I had soup with pasta in it today at lunch, I was hungry again around 3:30 and had some more of the soup then a baked potato with beans for dinner and I feel utterly bloated. Do you think there is a limit when it comes to these things even though they are supposedly unlimited?
