Back again!

Hi everyone. I'm Emma, 24, from Bristol.

I started SW back when I was at uni, lost 2st but then fell off the wagon and never managed to get back on again....since then I've tried WW, Rosemary Conley and calorie counting and have come back to what I know will work if I stick at it, but then that's where the problem lies! Im now at my heaviest....

Ive been back at SW for 8 weeks now. Did really well the first week and lost 6lbs, but then my nan went into hospital for a few weeks and so lost my way a bit. Ive gradually been chipping the pounds away and am now at a 6.5lb total loss. Not great for 8 weeks but better than nothing!

I thought I'd try posting my journey and get a bit more support as I cant always stay to group. My darling OH tries to be supportive but unfortunately his willpower is just as bad as mine!

So my first aim was to get to a stone by christmas but honestly I dont see that happening but a loss every week will do.

Long term goal - I don't really have a specific weight in mind, more of.a sizing goal - im currently at a 20 to 22. My partner and I are engaged. No date set yet, but I want to be wearing a size 10 to 12 dress!

I weigh on Wednesdays, not expecting much this week (lots of birthdays at work = lots of irresistible treats as well as other things...). Im determined that this will be the last time I do this, no matter how long it takes!

So....first diary post tomorrow! :)

Best of luck, you know you can do it it you do it right x

Hello and welcome back! you seem to have motivation and desire - the best start!;-) wish you good luck. Be strong and motivated and you can do it! Will be glad to read your new posts)

Thanks! I always start with loads of motivation but always lose it towards the end of the week!

So today's been pretty good so far!

For breakfast I used my b choice with 2 slices of a small loaf of wholemeal bread with light spread and marmite (2) this is my breakfast most weekdays with a coffee. My a choice usually goes on milk used in numerous coffees throughout the day!

Fur lunch I had a Chinese noodle mug shot (free!) With a muller light afrer dinner mint (also free!). I try to have a mug shot and yogurt for lunch on weekdays but the canteen at work is sometimes too tempting!

Mid-afternoon snack of a banana! There was also another birthday at work but limited myself to 2 celebrations (4).

For tea I had some left over how did pulled pork (free) stirfried with peppers, onion and dried egg noodles (still free!) With a homemade peanut satay sauce (7).

So total syns used today are 13, just have to stop myself from munching anything else tonight! I've got some three cinnamon tea which is the lovely sweet treat needed and nights!!

Hey thanks for following!

So....today's going well. I wasnt feeling breakfast this morning so I had a banana and coffee when I got into work (a choice).

Ive got a food drawer at work which currently is filled with various mug shots, hifi bars and tea. I always kept forgetting to pack my lunch because I like to wake up at the latest possible moment, so I decided to keep a drawer full of it! I do like the mug shots, well most of them! They are better than a cuppa soup which I cannot do (no liquid lunches unless its homemade with some chunks!) So today I went for the macaroni cheese one which is 2 syns with a cherry mullerlight. I did have a post lunch celebration for 2 syns as well.

Because I didn't have my toast this morning, I used my b choice on a seductive salted caramel hifi bar with my afternoon coffee. Absolutely LOVE these ones! That was my last so need to get some more. Might try some alpens this week for a change, need to have a look see what qualifies for a b choice!

For tea tonight ive got a 5 syn WW spaghetti bolognaise with a can of diet coke!

So today I've managed 9 syns. If I get munchy later ill have a cup of tea :)

So it was weigh in day today. As expected I put on 2lbs. I couldn't make it last week and due to the lack of motivation I'm ok with that.

At the weekend we treated ourselves to a m&s meal I've saved until tonight. Salmon en croute with mash and veg, I know it's pastry but I was a little shocked when I found out it was 24 syns! But I thought the best dash too have it is weigh in day!

Ive tried to balance it out today, banana again for breakfast with a choice on milk. For lunch I had a thai red curry rice mug shot and vanilla chocolate sprinkles muller light (both free) after lunch some appeared on my desk so I had 3 at 1 syn each.

Obviously went over on syns but I'm ready to carry on for the next week.

Only issues coming up this week are that I'm out for dinner friday night at a brewers fayre, really have no idea what to eat so any ideas are greatly appreciated! Other issue is I'm going to London with a friend on Saturday, ill do my best to make the best choices where possible, I want to enjoy myself but stay sensible. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though!

It's hard eating out, things you think would be ok could shock you when you look them up, I have this tomorrow as out for lunch at a bar & grill

Hey. Haven't posted for a few days, been incredibly busy! Unfortunately food over the last few days hasn't been great. Thursday I came home from work to a curry my OH had ordered in. I could only manage half of it so I guess that's a plus! Friday was the pub meal, I'd normally have a burger at pubs but I had pasta bake which at the time seemed like a better choice but it was creamy....Saturday wasn't too bad, had a name sandwich for breakfast, panini for lunch and another sandwich for tea. I did walk about 3 miles round London though so lots of body magic (my God did I ache the next day!) All I ate Sunday was a footlong from Sunday, not great I know.

Started coming down with something yesterday and been feelimg crap all last night and today. I don't know what it is but when I'm ill I just want to wrap myself in a cocoon of comfort food..had a McDonald's last night, but today was better. Took the day off work and slept in all morning. I wasn't hungry until about 5ish and I made myself a satay chicken stir fry which is all free with about 6 syns for the peanut butter in the sauce.

It's weigh in tomorrow. Not sure what to expect really but im ready to start fresh again for the next week.

For the week ahead I don't see anything major except I'm going to London for work on Thursday which normally involves a late night and a glass of champagne so I'll have a bigger lunch to keep me going all afternoon and evening until I get home later.
