Starting again...

Hi.

Like a lot of women I have tried a lot of diets!! My list so far has been; lighter life, the Cambridge diet and weight watchers. I did really well on weight watchers and I lost 4 stone in around 5 months. I was amazed but I stopped and gained at least 2.5 stone again. I tried to go back to weight watchers but had no motivation at all.

So here I am, giving slimming world a try and I must say it's really flexible with lots of choices.

I went to my first class on Monday and up until last night I felt I was doing ok (everything is written down) but I got up today and ignoring my hang over cravings I am back on track!

I have set my target at 11 stone (got to lose 3stone 4lbs) then will decide from there where I want to be.

Would love for anyone to join me in my weight loss journey and I plan to update this little blog everyday to keep myself on track!

What are your goals? How are you getting on?

Thanks!

Hi, I come from North Lanarkshire but live in North Yorks. My goal is to be 9st 7lbs by end of July so got a bit over 2 and a half stone to go. I'm doing pretty well on SW so far, got my 3rd weigh in on Tuesday and would like 2lbs but been a bit naughty with choc fudge this week!
Are you following EE or mixing it up between red and green? Good luck x

Hi! How much have you lost so far? I am following EE and see how I feel about the other plans once I have worked this one out. Really hoping for 3lbs this week but not sure what to expect x

I lost 4lbs my first week then 3lbs on my second, got my 1/2 stone award and slimmer of the week this week x

Good luck on your Journey
I am loving SW this time round again :)
Lost 5st on it about 7-8 yrs ago, let it all slip and went back to square one !
This time round I am 2st 8lbs down in 12 weeks :)
I need to lose another 2st to get to my goal of 10st 10, then I will see from there :)
i find keep a diary + writing everything down really helps as does browsing this forum :)
Put your mind to it and you can do it!
x

So I made it through my first week but when I really thought about it I didn't feel any different. I looked at my food diary and thought it looked ok. However my reality was quite different...

I am a picker! I think nothing of a little bit of chocolate or a handful of crisps but when I thought about the tit bits that I had got through this week (that I hadn't noted down) I was incredibly disappointed in myself and it showed on the scales.

Half a pound off. HALF A POUND! HALF A FREAKING POUND.

So the line has been drawn, the fruit has been bought and here we go again.

Well, at least you know where you probably went wrong :)
And at least you lost something :)
If you're going to write things down, you do need to be honest with yourself and not forget things
All those little bits DO add up :)
At least you haven't given up....give it your best shot this week, and next weigh in should be really good :)

^^^ what she said :) write it all down and you will see exactly what you're eating and can adjust what you need to. Good luck for a good week x

Well done for joining and realising where you went wrong this week!
I joined SW in September and have lost 1st 4lbs, really happy but losses have slowed down and I need motivation to get a couple of decent numbers before Christmas!
It sounds like everyone is doing great xxx
