Hi All!!!

My name is Jo, I'm 25 and from Birmingham. I've recently lost 3st on the Cambridge Weight Plan and now I've moved onto SW to lose my remaining 3st 9lbs. I'm excited to start my journey. I'm a serial yoyo dieter and I have been putting that right since the beginning of this year. I would like to continue my journey with slimming world and hopefully with a little hard work and determination I will reach my goals.

I'm currently at work doing a 07:00-16:00 shift so I have had time to look through my SW bible to comprise my shopping list. My exercise for today will be walking the long route to tesco's and back. Here is what is on my menu for my first day on Slimming World!!

BREAKFAST
Hex A 250ml Semi skimmed milk
Hex B 2x Weetabix biscuits
1x Banana

LUNCH
2x Peri Peri Mugshots
2x Oranges

DINNER
Low fat chicken Super Noodles
Stir Fry vegetables

SYNS
10.5 in total
1 packet salt and vinegar chips 5.5
2x Original Oreo biscuits 5

DRINKS
Super Speed Juice
*Graprefruit
*Lime
*Orange
*Frozen Raspberries
*Pineapple

Water
Sugar free Squash
Beanies Coffee
Twinings fruit tea
 
Remember at least 1/3 super free to all free..load up the salad and veggies on every plateful

Today I made the mistake of juicing my super speed fruits!! I thought they were free. Turns out you can only eat them not drink them for them to be free. Still it's day 1 and I'm happy with everything else I've done today. Loaded my plate full of stir fry veggies with my dinner!! I'm so full. I hope this diet works for me. I will follow it to the letter so it should.

Today went better I think!!
Added loads of veg to my dinner and had extra fruit for snacks. Loving this extra easy plan!!! If anyone is on ********* follow me xxjojoxx89_sw
Hope you all had a good day. No work for me tomorrow!! The in-laws are up from Devon which usually means lots if shopping and nice food. I will however be sticking to the plan as best I can whilst they are here.

BREAKFAST
All of hexB - 2 small slices wholemeal bread
1/2 Tin baked beans
2 eggs cooked with frylight

LUNCH
1x Peri peri mugshot
2x Oranges

DINNER
Cheese and broccoli pasta'n'sauce
1 pack of micro veg

SNACKS
Frozen mixed berries
1/4 Fresh pineapple

SYNS
2x Oreo cookies 5
Hartley's 10 cal jelly 0.5
1x Ritz cracker breaks with the rest of hexA 3x LC light triangles 7.5

DRINKS
Sugar free squash
Water
Twinings fruit tea

Had my 1 1/2 day off plan with the in-law's and my fiance and I'm back on track now..... Finding this diet really good in terms of the amount of foods available to me!! My body is just taking a bit of time to adjust to this diet after starting straight after finishing the Cambridge Weight Plan. I also want to get back into the gym straight after christmas. A couple of my friends said that doing exercise on this diet would make me put on weight. Is this the case?

Exercise 'shouldn't' make you put on weight....at the end of the day it's calories in vs calories out.
I've lost almost 3 st this time round, and done very little in the way of exercise.
and i imagine if you build 'muscle' that 'might' result in a slight gain, muscle weigh more than fat.
good luck on your journey , SW is a good plan if you stick with it, and at the end of the day, it's healthy eating and everything in 'moderation' :)
 
Thank you for the advice Denise! Really appreciate it. Haven't started exercising yet. Been on SW for 13 days now and managed to lose half a stone. Feeling fantastic!
 
It's been a while!!!!

I went away to try a few other things diet wise but realised SW is great and it works. And you know what they say, If it ain't broke.......

Hope your journey's are going well. Had my first day back today. Not going to group. Going it alone at home. Wish me luck!!

Ended up joining group! I think it might give me a bit more motivation. This is officially day two. I'm loving the Extra Easy plan! I'm definitely staying on plan this time round. I just need to stick with it, work hard and be patient! You've done so well!! How are you finding the plan?

I find the plan brilliant :)
Just need to get my mojo back at the moment(chocolate/binges-had been SO good for months!:rolleyes:)
But once you get into it, there really is so much variety you can have :)
I find if you write ''everything'' down , you can see where you're at over the day, what syns HE's are left etc, and if you're getting enough 'speed' foods in
also good to look back on when you're a bit 'stuck' etc
and can also help to see what you had on good weeks losses :)
It's a good idea to try and plan ahead too, and figure out what to get/make for snacks etc , so you don't come unstuck :)
trying new recipes can help also :)

But you can do it too, just get stuck in to the plan :)

I'm almost at the end of week 1! Loving it so far! I write everything down in my little food diary and I am going for my body magic bronze award.

Group is amazing. Even when you aren't there you can always rely on support from the forums and facebook etc.!

How are you getting on?

When is your weigh in day?
I actually didn't go to weigh in yesterday as I knew it was another gain... 4lb . Oops
My scales are practically the same as groups
Felt too embarrassed lol
Managed to stay on track yesterday.
So hopefully will have a loss next St if I can keep my mojo going :D

Put it behind you! You're still doing amazing and look how far you've come!!!
It was weigh day today and I lost 8 Lbs!!!! Can you believe it!! They rang a little bell for me and everything haha!!
This plan really does work!

I feel like I've got the hang of it now so I just need to keep going!!
