Everyone has a fat friend- I don't want to be yours... final chapter

Good Evening Everyone,
Here I am again- this has been an annual occurrence for me so what's different this time?

Well... I'm going to stop being a wimp and I'm off to join my local SW group on Tuesday evening... dun dun duuun!

Obviously, I cannot do this on my own at home, I've been up and down more times than a yoyo and I've had enough of hearing my own excuses. The fact is- it's my own fault I'm fat because I make the wrong choices.

So I officially start when I have been to group on Tuesday evening but I am going to actually start being much healthier tomorrow- starting by eating some fruit and drinking more water. Over the Christmas period I haven't eaten any fruit and I've had far too many fizzy drinks and alcohol.

It's a brand new year but my targets are the same- lose 70lbs!

I'll post a food and weight loss diary and would really appreciate your comments- I think this new EE SP thingy majig is going to take me a little while to get used to??!!

I look forward to chatting to you all :)

Subscribing :) I can't do it at home either, knowing someone else is weighing me keeps me on track! Although in saying that, I got to target last Christmas and only stayed in target range for 5 weeks! Haven't been nowhere near it since!

Here to sub! Good luck on Tuesday, I look forward to hearing how you get on :)

I know what you mean about Christmas! I gained 6lbs over the hols, all thanks to lots of wine and yummy bad food! Back on it now though :)

Hi both, thank you for stopping by. I hope you both had a lovely Christmas?

I'm so pleased with myself today, I aimed to be a little healthier today but I think I may have actually done a full day of slimming world?? I would appreciate some feedback if someone doesn't mind?

Breakfast:
fruit salad- pineapple, pomegranate, pear and strawberries
Lunch:
Home made pea and ham soup, 2x wholemeal bread, Satsuma
Tea:
Gammon, SW chips, roasted veg- onion, tomatoes, courgette and mixed peppers
Drinks:
1x coffee, 1x tea, 1x rhubarb tea and I'm now sat with 1 litre of water with a tough of NAS juice
Snacks:
Haven't had any yet but later on I will have some asda prawn shell crisps which are 4.5 syns

Subscribing too! I have tried and failed to do SW at home, finally gonna bite the bullet and go to group! I can't do this alone....looking forward to seeing your progress...:)

Looks good :) The wholemeal bread could of been you healthy extra B, if it was 2 slices from a 400g loaf, or it is 1 slice from 800g loaf plus about 5 syns (ish). If you had any milk or cheese, that would go towards your healthy extra A. Overall a very good start though :) Once you have been to group and got your pack, you will be well away!!

Here to sub! I'm the opposite- did awfully when I joined a group lol I think I lost 1.5lb in 6wks!
Your day looks great, was your bread from a 400g loaf? I weighed two slices from a 400g loaf (don't ask lol) and it was only 40g instead of the 60g hexb allowance! X

Good point about the bread :) Sometimes I get 3 slices out of a 400g loaf.

How much bread should I have for 1 hex B?
I forgot on EE you only get 1 b choice as I usually do red days!

I'm really looking forward to going to group tomorrow to get all the up to date books :)

Thanks for the support lovelies :)

Here to sub as well x i cant keep on track either unless i go to group xx i did it at home via online membership but found i was questioning my scales if i didnt like the number x plus because i didnt physically have to face people at group i got compliant i think x

For bread, the rule I follow is 60g of wholemeal. Or it is x2 slices from small loaf (400g) or 1 slice from thick 800g loaf.

I usually weigh, as then if the 2 slices fall a long way short I add 1 more slice :)

I will have to syn one slice then, thanks for the info :)

How many ryvitas and laughing cow light can I have? I'm thinking of taking some to work tomorrow with a home made veg soup- I love my soup maker!

Id love a soup maker x might put it on my birthday list lol

It is 4 ryvitas or, confusingly, to make it a 'speed' food then it is 2. The light laughing cow is 4 or extra light is 6.

You should definitely get one- I made a pea and ham soup yesterday and me and my other half took it to work today and then this evening whilst he prepared tea I did a very quick veg soup for tomorrow's lunch- I've never been so organised which has been part of my failure x

Mine was £50 but they have them in tesco at the moment for £44.50
It only takes 21 minutes to do a smooth soup- I hate soup with lumps in, i don't do textures very well lol x
