START DATE: THURSDAY 22ND JANUARY 2015

This time I'm gonna do it!!!! :D

My Stats:

Weight: 14 stone 5lbs :sigh:
Height: 5 foot 6 inches
Age: 35
Gender: Female

Little bit of information about me and my life style:
I'm a single mum.
I have two children: My little boy is 3 years old and my little girl is 5 years old. They are in Montessori and Primary School.
I have a very bad back - had an operation on it in 2009 - was doing very well but had a fall which injured it badly again.
I do not do any exercise presently. (I aim to change this from this week on)
I work in front of a computer 3 days a week.
I previousy lost 1 stone and 10 lbs in 10 weeks on SW from Aug 2013 to Nov 2013. I have since put back on 10 lbs of this and do not want to put back on anymore!
I want to lose 3 stone!

I'm ready to start my new journey! Weighing in tonight - have set myself a target of 4 lbs loss for Week 1.
From past experience I know I'm really bad at updating what I've eaten during the day but will aim to do this as much as I can from now on.
This site helped me a lot the last time and hopefully it will do the same this time.

Pleased to meet ye all :)

So had my WI last night and I'm 14st 5lbs. I have decided that my final target is 11st 5lbs so I need a total of 3 stone off to hit that. I am aiming to have it all off before I head on my first little family holiday with my little people in August. I have NEVER EVER worn a bikini and this is something that I could never imagine myself doing but it's what I'm aiming for :)

Did my weekly shopping last night and cleared out all my presses when I got home so I feel like my mind is clear. I'm also starting a spending diary this week and hoping to maximise the amount of no spend days I have in a week which hopefully will be my back up to stop me from eating out if I'm tempted etc, can't do any harm anyway!

I really want to be thin and healthy! It's one of those things that I've always wanted to be but could never imagine me being. I'm determined that this is my year.
I also have given my little ones some bad habits that I want to reverse before it's too late!! They are my world and I feel very guilty that they don't class McDonalds as a treat, rather a place that we eat whenever we go to town! Still its never too late to change bad habits! ;)

So breakfast is definitely my downfall! I'm usually either rushing out the door not having eaten anything, or I'm stopping at the garage on the way to work! I suppose it's generally not being prepared and rushing everywhere so thats the first thing I need to tackle.

Last night I made the magic porridge and stuck it in the fridge, make my little peoples' lunches and got their clothes ready and set the table. Only took me about 15 minutes to do all that when they were in bed but I felt that this morning it saved me an hours work! So much easier to get them ready and out the door when everything is prepared. I had time to sit and have my porridge and a cup of coffee while they watched a few minutes telly before school. A lovely calm peaceful morning instead of the usual chaos and now I'm sitting in work with a full tummy!! It's a win win situation ha! :D

I find that if I don't eat a proper healthy breakfast for the day I end up picking and making bad choices for the day. So a good healthy syn free brekkie is my new SW resolution!

So have had a pretty ok week... few mishaps on the way but getting back into the swing of things.
Had chopped fruit for breakfast this morning which is a first for me and I really enjoyed it!
Dinner tonight is SW chicken korma with boiled rice... yum!

Hi good luck on your journey!
Preparation is always a good thing in the evening- something I try to do too - and as you can see it makes things a little less of a panic in the morning when time seems to fly:D

Hi Zafira, thanks for the comment :)
Yes it definitely has made a huge difference. I've also began leaving my mobile/alarm on the press at the end of my room so that I actually have to get up to turn it off! I usually hit snooze about 10 times before I finally make it out of the bed!! Even got some cleaning done this morning before I got out to work! Have started a complete new regime! You have had a fab weight loss ! Well done x

So after my fruit breakfast this morning, I had 2 scrambed eggs and a sl wholemeal bread (hexb) for my break in work.
Lunch is a bowl of mexican rice (1.5 syns and delicious) and a liberte fat free yoghurt (also delicious)!!
Have a banana in with me for the afternoon with a coffee.
Then dinner is the Chicken Korma and hopefully will get in a lot of water this evening and a walk on the treadmill when my little people go to bed x

WI tomorrow night :)

Good luck for your weigh in tomorrow. I can relate to the mornings, I think that's why I am totally out of the habit of eating, mornings are a rush of sorting kids, getting out of the door and starting work. Its usually technically lunchtime before I get chance to think about feeding myself!

Good for you for getting organised though!

Yea it's taking a bit of getting used to alright. Fell back onto the bed this morning but luckily I had my second alarm clock (my little boy) to get me out of the bed! ha

Just on my break in work here trying to sort out an online shop with Tesco - Haven;t done one in years but I'm seriously hoping I can get into it... seems like it's so much easier and would help me to stick to a budget and not be buying extras that I don't need when I'm in an actual shop! Love that I can just go in at any stage and update my order or make changes at any time up to a couple of hours before delivery! Hope it helps me save money as well as being more organised :)

Breakfast this monring was a coffee and a chewy delight bar (hexb)
Then I ate half a small bag of tiny thai chilli rice crackers that I got in the Health Shop - have no idea how to syn them!! They have 37gr fat in a 125gr bag but I'm hoping its all good fats!! Couldn't stop eating them once I started! Anyway they're gone now and I won't be buying them again even though the are just delicious!! :)

WI tonight!! :)

Good luck tonight! I love online shopping, makes life much easier, I shop around though, use mysupermarket (I think that's the site) to compare the cost of my shopping across all supermarkets before I order, and I use Morrison's/tesco/asda depending on who has sent me a recent evoucher and works out cheapest. I'm realising that I'm coming across as really tight!!! I'm not, I just like to get a bargain!

Have the snacks got calories on the bag? I heard as a general rule of thumb you can syn at 1 syn per 20 calories if all else fails.

How did weigh in go?:)
Must try online shopping myself some when :)

Down 5.5 lbs!! :D Absolutely thrilled! Was not expecting that much at all... It's given me a great boost for this week. Normally after WI I'd go straight to the chipper as a "treat" but have decided that if I'm gonna do this properly for a change then those days are gone!! If I treat myself it's gonna be within my syn count! Well that's the plan for now anyway!! Hoefully it lasts :)

How's your week going?

Also hit the next stone down bracket - moving from 14's to 13's!!! Thrilled :)

Thanks Halloumi :)

So todays food -

B - Coffee and Special K Chewy Delight Cereal Bar (5 Syns)

11.30 am - WW Tomoato Soup and Sl Wholemeal Soda Bread (HEB)

L - Broccoli and Green Bean Omlette

4pm - Coffee

Dinner - Undecided as yet - Will be rushing tonight because have to pick my little girl up from Drama when I finish work and then I'm heading straight to get my nails done.... Hopefully will be able to grab something good and healthy :)

I always have a little chocolate treat with my coffee at around 9/10pm too, keeps me going knowing I have something nice to look forward to... usually 5 syns or so!

Getting my hair done in the morning - can't wait :)

Well done on the loss & new stonage! :)

Thanks Zafira :)

So the weekend went pretty ok for me.... was away working so I brought some food with me.... had a few slips ups but hoping that it won;t affect me too much.
WI tomorrow night :)

So today is Weigh in Day :/ ... I'm hoping for a loss... 1.5 would be amazing cos it would bring me to half a stone in 2 weeks but its star week so Im not sure how the scales will react!!! Its a waiting game now ha!

Have been easing myself into it with the last 2 weeks! Need to get myself into gear now and start a proper food diary and plan my meals a bit better! Planning is definitely the key in all this. I'm managing to stop the all day snacking and look forward to my little treat every night with my coffee but I really need to start counting my syns properly!

I'm away this weekend but will still aim to stick to plan and hopefully the follwoing week I'll be better equipped to get myself in gear!

Roll on 6pm!!!
