Hello everyone,
Yay it's good to be back. First of all.. A bit of background.

I lost 6.5 stone mainly via SW and realised my dream of becoming a police officer (hence user name).

I started my weight loss journey at 21.5 stone and got down to 15. I felt great, met the love of my life, could actually run and pass the bleep test etc. however... I managed to maintain at around 15st 6lbs until late last year and then Christmas happened!! I'm now weighing in at 16st 8 and feel vile. I've lost my fitness, my size 18 clothes are feeling tight and I'm petrified of putting all the weight back on.

So - I've come back on here as quite frankly, you lot are ace, I had your support previously and know I won't be able to do it without you.

My first target is to lose 1 stone. Then it's back to my final target of getting to 13 stone.

Feel free to comment and say hello, especially if anyone has any tips on how to survive night shifts xxx
 
So today's food diary, I'm going to be sticking with green and original days. Also joining group tonight

B: bran flakes (b)
L: tuna salad
D: pork with peppers and jacket potato (b)
D2: pork with peppers, yogurt and fruit (having two dinners as working nights) x
 
Hi hun! Wow firstly weldone on the weight u lost thats bloody amazing! U have done it once so i truly believe u can do it again! Police woman thats exciting!!

Today's food diary - original day (having two dinners as starting nights tonight)

B: bran flakes (b)
L: lean pork and some peppers
S: 3 fish sticks
D1 (2030hrs) gammon, egg and salad
S: (2200hrs) biscuit at briefing (6 syns)
D2 (0300hrs) spicy pork and veg
S: sugar free jelly and fruit
S: (0700hrs) apple and bag of cheese curls on drive home (4 syns?)

Should sleep from 0830 until 1700 ish tomorrow, then it'll be off to gym before doing it all over again.
 
Hi kirasgran, yay to both of our first days. Ohh a controller, I love mine, find it pays to stay on the good side of them. ? am on nights tonight so am taking literally a truck load of food with me.

Oh also - just back from group.. Shock horror!!! My consultant said red and green days no longer exist on slimming world. Eek. Time I embraced change. X

Oh my goodness - I'm exhausted, always hate the first night shift, not slept in over 24 hours, I'm about to get in a bubble bath then it's bed. Woop. P.s in other good news.. My Sgt had made cakes but I was good and said no! X
 
Morning... Woke up absolutely starving. Feel a bit unprepared still..

B (1700): 2 scrambled eggs, fish stick and a cracker (2 syns) and handful of bran flakes (b)

L (2000): rice bag (1), tuna, salad and Mayo (1)

D (0300): feta (a) salad with mayo (2 syns)

Snacks: fruit, sugar free jelly, popcorn (4 syns)

You seem to be on opposite shifts to me. I had the 4.30 am get up call

Owch I hate earlies!! Last night was crazy Q.. Only went to one job all night, unheard of. Guess all the normal domestics are loved up from valentines still.

How was your first day on plan? X

My first day was good. Today too. I haven't felt hungry so that's good. How are you doing food wise
 
Hiya, I'm doing ok, just wish I'd chosen to start on a week where I wasn't on nights, all I'm doing is working and sleeping and can't be fluffed cooking and preparing stuff.

So today's food diary..

B: (1730) bran flakes, banana and grapes (b and 3 syns), fish stick, 2 baby bel lights (a)

L: (2000) vegetable chilli and rice

D: (0300) vegetable chilli and rice (hoping nobody notices I'm having the same meal twice in one day although technically it's a different day so I'm not weird at all).

S: popcorn x 2 (8 syns), Apple, grapes, sugar free jelly and miller light yogurt.

Uh - 2 more nights to go. Hope everyone has had a good day ? x
 
Aww yeah preparing food and nights suck . I'm on rest days and start nights for 4 on Friday trying to plan. I have got a great little book my daughter gave me called 100 extra easy days by slimming world. I highly recommend it, it's great for meal planning. Hope rest days come soon enough for you xx
 
Woop woop - last night shift tonight, we must be on complete opposites kirasgran.

sammie - I work a block of the same shift (nights or lates or earlies) then have a 2 rest days or 3 if after nights. I'm off tomorrow but it's hard as don't finish till 7am so have to spend my day off sleeping but trying to get my body clock back to normal so I can sleep Friday night, therefore I usually spend the day after nights sleeping for a 3 hours then sitting on sofa all day moaning about how tired I am. Hehe.

Anyway.. Today's food..

B: (1800) bran flakes (b)

L: salad, gammon and small jacket potato

D: (0300) veggi chilli and rice, muller light yogurt, Apple

S: popcorn (4 syns)

Oops - sorry to report I had a little run in with a slice of rocky road last night.. I won't go into detail but basically the rocky road ended up in my mouth!!!

Have been awake for an hour and half but still in bed and not at the gym (which was the plan), oh well.. It's open till 8 :)

B: (1400) bran flakes (b) and fruit

D: (1900) chilli and rice

Only two meals today, as spending lots of the day sleeping so won't need a lot x
