Hi everyone. So I'm thinking of doing SW from home as i just cant afford to go every week and pay gym membership and my grocery bill is gone through the roof since starting SW. so hopefully by posting my diary here i will get the advice, hints and encouragement that i so strongly need. Going to post the last few days together then I will do daily Diaries.

Monday
Breakfast: apple and tea
Lunch: sheperds pie with carrot and swede mash and tea
Snack: 3 apples and benfit bar (HEX B) tea
Dinner: chips rashers fried onion and garlic mayo (syn free)
Snack: Pancake with natural yoghurt and raspberries and benfit bar and more tea

Tuesday
Breakfast: orange apple and yoghurt and tea
Snack: Fat free natural yoghurt with raspberries and tea
Lunch: soup
Snack: orange and benfit bar and tea
Dinner: potatoes pork chop and cabbage
Snack Benfit bar and tea

Wednesday
Breakfast: Apple and orange
Snack: orange and yoghurt
Lunch: soup and cheesy bites
Snack: benfit bar tea 2oranges and rest of cheesy bites
Dinner: potatoe cabbage and pork chop
Snack: benfit bar snack o jacks (4.5syns) and crunchie (7.5 syns)

Thursday
Breakfast: apple and 2 yoghurts tea
Snack: benfit bar and apple tea
Lunch: soup and speedy quiche
snack: benfit bar and apple tea
Dinner: potatoe cabbage and bacon
Snack: syn free cake crunchie (7.5 syns and mint chocolate thing (4syns) tea

Friday
Breakfast:apple 2 yoghurts and tea
Snack: syn free cake and tea
Lunch:syn free pancake with fat free natural yoghurt and raspberries tea
Snack: banana orange 2 benfit bars and half a cup of mug shot ( daughter ate the rest) tea
Dinner: potatoe, rasher, sasuage mushy peas and mixed veg
Snack: orange yoghurt crisps (3.5syns) 2biscuits (5syns) and curly wurly (6syns) 2cups of tea

Saturday
Breakfast: speedy quiche, fried egg and mushrooms tea
Snack:eek:range
Lunch:cous cous pepper beetroot apple yoghurt and benfit bar
Snack:benfit bar
Dinner: rice with chicken tikka masala and extra pepper ( SW frozen meal)
Snack: orange and option belgian choc (2syns)

Sunday:
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, beans onions and tea
snack: 2 oranges and tea
Lunch: chicken paprika beetroot and yoghurt
Snack: apple benfit bar beetroot banana and 2 cups of tea
Dinner: Lamb stew
Snack: Mint choclate (4syns?) and cake in a mug with yoghurt and tea. orange
 
Monday:
Breakfast: apple fat free natural yoghurt and strawberries with tea
Snack: benfit bar HEX B with tea
Lunch: rice and chilli con carne and an orange
Snack: benfit bar and tea apple
Dinner: chicken and pasta with peppers tomotoes onions sauce
Snack: undecided yet probably options belgian choc and a curly wurly (8syns) tea

So today is the begining of a new week and my im getting weighed on wednesday. ive been good i think dunno would love some feedback but the scales says im up :(
 
Hi there...i'm sure you'll be fine on wednesday!
I weigh as well on wednesday!
Your food diary looks quite alright! As long as you make sure you have 1/3 speed with every meal (i usually don't have it with breakfast as i have bran flakes and they are super filling)
And make sure you aren't hungry!
As for your grocery bill...i find it helps a lot to preplan my meals for a week and then only buy what we need for that week plus lots of fruit and veg
 
thanks for your feedback strawberryshortcake ... a lot have told me that im not having enough for breakfast which i have changed this monring to to fried eggs beans follwed by my speed which was two oranges and tea ....

My shopping bill would work like that if my partner and my litttle girl ate the same as myself. i can get them to eat some of the food i make but not all. so its like im doing a SW shopping and a little unhealthy shopping too. however we do eat alot of fruit between us and a good bit of fruit.
 
So this morning tuesday morning I woke up with a pain in my jaw/ear not sure which its been there since friday but getting worse as i find it hard to chew and its a constant pain and cant get an appointment with my doc till tomorrow morning :mad: typical irish healthcare system.

Anyway droppped my little girl to creche and headed out to my parents house for the day. ( brought my lunch and snacks with me my mam thinks im mad bringing my measured milk snack and lunch as she dont understand SW)

So after everyones feed back I have decided to change my breakfast a little and increase my water intake as i was told tea can dehydrate you

This morning for breakfast i have had 2 fried eggs, beans, and two oranges with a cup of tea
Snack: i had an orange with tea and a pint of water
lunch: i had left over dinner - - - > chicken pasta and sauce ( in the sauce is tomoatoes, peppers, leeks, onions, spices and pasasta all blended)

Oh i only know this too well...i have two very fuzzy eaters, my dh doesn't like veg unless i hide it and ds doesn't like meat unless it's minced beef, lol
I think if i didn't make the extra effort and spend the extra money i'd be double the weight or dh and ds would have starved to death, lol
 
ill transform them yet. however a few months back I could never have a sweet press as I use to just buy it and once its there id eat it now that i have joined SW i have more control over my eating habits and know I can have a treat and just syn it so its working for me. ( before that i attend a gym and my instructor done a diet plan and if i seen another plain chicken breast or scrammled egg i was going to vomit) and heard alot of people talking about SW and the variety of choices you can have. i have never eating so much amd still lose weight . its great. and what i love also is theres no guilt attached to a bad day " draw a line under it and start tomorrow"
 
Exactly what i think...sw is the best thing that's happened to me! Finally it's sustainable healthy eating and not restriction here, there and everywhere!!

Snack: apple, benfit bar, yoghurt, tea
Dinner: homemade soup and sheperds pie tea
Snack: benfit bar 2 pink and whites ( 5syns) 2cups tea
6pints of water
 
wednesdays diary
Breakfast: 2 SW sausages 3 rashers beans and orange and tea
Snack: grapes
Lunch: soup and apple
Snack: apple, benfit bar and tea
Dinner. cous cous (half syn) beetroot hard boild egg, chicken leg minus the skin, peppers and lettuce
Snack: orange, benfit bar and 2 pink and whites and 2 tea ( 5 syns)

so Wednesdays plan with great i think. starting to fill myself up more in the mornings at breakfast time therefore not as peckish the rest of the day and find that is helping big time. my dinner this evening was amazing mopped it up and even went back for more bits, if you gave me that this time last year id throw it back at ya and id rather starve. its all about trying new food and new ways of cooking. love cooking things from scratch now even making my own yoghurts using natural yoghurts and putting my own fruit and sweetener in it.
 
Thursday:
Breakfast: omelet (egg, tomatoe, leeks, mushrooms, ham) tea (HEX A)
Snack:Apple
Lunch:Soup, Benfit bar (HEX B), Yoghurt
Snack:Grapes, orange
Dinner: Cous cous, Ham, chicken, hard boiled egg, beetroot, sweetcorn, leeks, peppers, lettuce, homemade SW potatoe salad
Snack: jelly and yoghurt, (half syn) benfit bar (HEX B) and 2 pink n whites (5 syns) 2 cups tea (HEX A)
 
Thursday:

Snack: Apple
Lunch: Soup and yoghurt
Snack: Apple benfit bar and grapes and tea
Dinner: cous cous, (half syn) pepper, egg, tomato, leeks, beetroot, potatoe salad, ham, turkey
Snack: jelly and youghurt (half syn) benfit bar and 2 pink and whites ( 5 syns) and two tea.
Total syns: 6
 
Friday
Breakfast: Egg, beans, tomoatoe, mushrooms, tea and apple
Snack: none
Lunch: chilli con carne and cheesy bite
Snack: Apple SW jellies benfit bar and 2 tea
Dinner: potatoes, bacon and cabbage
Snack: SW cake with raspberries, benfit bar and curly wurly ( 6 sys )
