Hello and welcome!
I am not new to the site or to dieting, tried just about everyone going!
Lost a few stone and then broke my ankle and put on those few stone straight away! I have over the past month discovered a delightful group of ladies at a Slimming world group that is accessible and fun and is keeping me on the straight and narrow!
I find the advice and the Facebook group invaluable. I travel a lot with work and sometimes have no control over what and when i eat. In the past when i was on WW i would eat all my points in curly wurlys and live on salad!!
SW is teaching me differently and I have rediscovered the love of cooking!

I am 1 month in and have lost 11.5lbs so far! i have never eaten so much in my life!!
So i need this wee diary, I will try and post pics as well if i can figure out how to post them from my phone, feel free to follow, ignore or read and run I wont be offended!!

Today
B-strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes and muller light yoghurt
L-Beef stir fry left over from last night. Mangetout, Broccoli, onions, mushroom and lots of spice!
D-its taster week so will see how much i eat at group tonight!!
Snacks- hifi lite bar (1.2 Hexb) Alpen light (1/2 Hex B) 4 x aldi cheese triangles (hex a) apple, banana and plum
Not many syns on there but i am waiting to see what group tasters are !!

And after a week away with work being served food left right and centre and having no choice as to what I ate I have stayed the same this week at weigh in. Back to the plan of keeping a food diary and no cheating!! X

Good luck in your SW journey. You sound motivated and its lovely youve found a nice group who support you - amazing how much that helps isnt it!!

Well done on maintainin your weight after the temptation youve faced - thats brilliant. ill see you around thr forum and will keep coing back to follow your progress xxx
 
Thanks Stacey! I am losing this weight!! 7 and a bit stone to go, biggest loser was awarded tonight I want that next year!!! Had a lovely tea of omelette and veggies stir fried in a teaspoon of honey, balsamic and soy and it was to die for!!! Planning for the next week is now done and I am drooling over master chef!! X

Good morning world!!! Fruity breakfast of strawberries raspberries blueberries and a banana! Brekkie on the move! Lunch will be some speedy soup I made in the slow cooker last night and some wafer thin ham and chopped pepper.
Tea also on the move tonight is some noodles with tuna and light cheese triangles. My hexb are hifi light and I have an apple and some plums in case of snacks needed!! Pictures of lunch and dinner to follow (I ate my fruit already!) x

So pleased you have found a nice group, I just love my group and its the best decision I made to join SW. I don't feel like I'm dieting but just changing my views on food.

Also well done on your loss so far - nearly a stone!! I have a lot of weight to lose to, but its going in the right direction which is just the best feeling isn't it?! xx

thanks for your comments and well done on your losses so far!
Certainly seems to be a lovely group although probs only about 17 of the 50 or so stay to image therapy.
Feel i can be honest and open with them and they understand that life sometimes gets in the way!
I have planned out my week and it includes a couple of meals out but choices are made, i need to learn to go with my head rather than my heart sometimes!
Strictly on plan this week and aiming for my 1 stone shiny!! that means 2.5lbs need to be gone forever :)

Planning is definitely the key :)

I have written a plan this week and am going to stick to it. My four year anniversary with my OH next week and I want to be as close to 2.5stone lighter as possible! I have even bought fridge magnets so my plan will be right on my fridge when I go looking to see what to eat! haha

Please call me Sarah - sazmajig is just a silly name my little brother calls me!

I keep meaning to take photos of my food before I eat it however i keep forgetting so have no photos to show!!
All to plan and feeling satisfied with what i am eating.
Todays plan- B- Omelette with mushrooms/ strawbs/raspbs/bluebs with fat free natural yoghurt
L-Sweet potato, baked beans, mushrooms, yellow pepper, wafer thin ham
D-Chicken breast with sticky vegetables (soy/balsamic and a drop of honey)
Hexa- 4 x aldi light cheese triangles Hexb-2 x hifi lite rocky road bars
Other- Apple, plums, banana
Syns- Honey 2 and will find something yummy later for a treat!!!

Let's smash it!!! Lol we have blokes in group but doesn't look like any need to lose huge amounts!
Today I had fruit with 0%yoghurt for brekkie, lunch was out and had a skinny burger, no bun and a big salad with a smidgen of coleslaw!
Tea is steak and new potatoes with half a plate of green beans and broccoli!
Hexa was a slice of cheese on my burger, hexb will be 2 x hifi lite bars later and some treats later undecided as to what yet but will be around ten Syns max!
