WiggyMaggy's Extra Easy Diary

Hello.

Back in 2012 I lost 2.5st doing SW EE, then I met my partner who freely admits that he's a 'feeder' and have found myself wanting to lose weight again.
As he also wants to lose a couple of stone, we started following the plan on Saturday March 14th 2015. I find it quite easy to stick to it, him less so, as he is a really big cheese lover.
First weigh-in was yesterday (we're not going to a group or doing it online as I know the principles) and I lost 5lb, him, a pound. He's now basically admitted that he can't/doesn't want to follow the plan, which is fine, but I thought I'd register here to hopefully find some kindred spirits and support.

I'm slightly worried as we've eaten out for the last two days. Yesterday we went to Zizzi's and today, Bella Italia. I had pappardelle with chicken and mushrooms in a tomato & rosemary sauce yesterday, whilst today I had gamberoni. I cannot find syn values anywhere for these dishes

Does anybody have any idea, please?

Temptation has been removed for the next 6 days as OH is working away.
WI on Saturday - would be great to hit the half a stone loss after only 2 weeks (hope I've not tempted fate!)

Another 3lb gone - yay! That makes 8lb after two weeks.

Been out collecting for Marie Curie Cancer Care this morning at my local town so that boosted the ol' feel good factor too.

Only 3 days at work next week as off on my hols on Thursday so will weigh in before I go and hopefully I won't put too much back on. However, I intend to really enjoy this holiday as it's the first one I've had since working full-time, so if I do put weight on I'll just get straight back on to plan when I get back.

Got the house to myself for the next few days so I can eat what I like, when I like.

For breakfast I had 35g Blueberry Wheats (HEx B) with skimmed milk (HEx A) and a banana.
For lunch I had a baked potato with leftover home made chilli and a mixed salad, followed by an apple.

Happy days!

8lbs in 2 weeks is brilliant, well done you :)

Treated myself to a M&S ready meal tonight which was 4.5 syns accompanied by 125ml of red wine (4 syns) topped up with diet lemonade which is my SW version of Sangria. I finished it all off with a cappuccino Muller Light and some strawberries. I was hoping for a nice soak in the bath but ended up doing some work so that'll have to wait until tomorrow night now.
However, I did make a lovely and rather massive batch of Dhansak curry sauce which should see me right for about 5 weeks :)

Cappuccino Muller Yoghurt sounds nice will have to have a look out for those. I like the idea of making up big batches of food for when I'm back at work for lunches will be a lot easier I think than having to worry bout breakfast and lunch first thing in morning before leaving house.

I find batch cooking is definitely the way to go when you're at work all day.
My favourite Muller yogurts are cappuccino, orange & chocolate and toffee. Yum!

Yea, I'm still on sick with knee until endish of May but I may start doing that now to get it into routine beforehand

Back from my holiday - a week of all-inclusive drinking and eating has resulted in a 3lb gain. I ate mostly fish, rice, pasta and salads but my weakness was the baklava and alcohol!
Oh well, back on plan now and I've got 6 weeks until my next holiday so I'm aiming for a one stone loss before then.

Amazed to report that I've lost 4lbs this week despite eating out twice and having a Chinese takeaway last night - very chuffed!
Just goes to show that you can eat out, providing you make the right menu choices. Happy.
