Hi everybody, I just wanted a little place to record my food, trying to keep the food journal on the website which I will paste here. Been on Slimming World for just over 2 weeks - lost albs in my first week and put on 0.5lb in my second week which was not good although not unexpected ... I hadn't been keeping a food record and its so easy to let things slide, especially keeping track of sins consumed!

Woke up today feeling more determined to stick with it, it's so easy to veer off track. I'm away for a long weekend so hopefully won't be too much of a struggle :)

Food so far:
B: chopped apple and plum with a Liberte blueberry yogurt (1 syn) - they are currently on offer at Sainsburys for 2 for £1 (normally £1 a pot), 2 alpen lights, 2 cups of tea
Snack: 2 ryvitas, 2 Laughing Cow blue light cheese triangles, cucumber
Lunch: salad - rocket, lettuce, tomato, spring onion, cucumber, chopped plum, cooked ham, chilli flakes, diet coke, 1 hob nob biscuit
After work: 2 bottles of beer
Dinner: cooked ham, broccoli, fried egg with fry-light. Muller light yogurt, cadburys options

Syns: 21 syns - slightly over, beer and biscuit to blame

Off shortly for the weekend - I'm out for a meal tonight and will try to resist temptation in Cotswolds pubs .. I am partial to the cider.

Have had a big breakfast this morning and will take some ryvitas with laughing cow light for the train plus get a diet coke.

Food so far today:
B: poached egg, asparagus, 2 cups of tea, Liberte yoghurt (1 syn) with 2 chopped apples
Snacks for the train: 4 rye ryvitas with 4 blue light cheese triangles, 1 Allen light bar, 1 diet coke (not sure if I will scoff the lot - the meal tonight is at 8.30pm so a bit of a stint to go :)

Well, I'm back from my long weekend away, it wasn't complete carnage but did have at least one naughty thing a day - a slice of cake/pint or three of cider etc ... I was in the Cotswolds though and wanted to enjoy myself, was such a treat to get out of London.

Stepping on the scales when I got home was a bit of a wake-up call, had put on 6lbs :/ and weigh-in is tomorrow ... plus I have no food in, will need to do a shop after I weigh-in. Do feel determined to get back on track though, I was telling my friend about the diet whilst I was away and she is going to join SW this week also so I will have a buddy.
 
Pleasant surprise, went for my weigh-in tonight and I had lost (don't ask how!) 3.5lbs so am bang on 15 stone or 210lbs. Still a long way to go but feels so good to see the numbers come down.

I walked home via the supermarket and got in some stuff to last me through the week ... treated myself to a big bread roll with tomato soup for dinner, with chocolate options for something sweet afterwards.

Tomorrow there is a strategy day at work so god knows what temptations will be on offer. Will have a big breakfast before I set off (it is provided but bound to be the most heavenly array of sticky pastries!)
 
Work has been full on and the diet out of the window - I work in a government affiliated body and was up all night with the General Election so just grazed on pizza, white wine and chocolate to get me through the night ... also had visitors last night and they wanted an Indian meal on Brick Lane so we went there and had a selection of stuff ... probably have had quadruple syns in the last couple of days!!

Will be back on it today, my weigh-in is on Tuesday so will see what the damage is. Sod's law that I am back on 210lbs (15 stone), would so love to see 14's but not sure I deserve it after this week's food shennignans!

Food today:
B: bacon, tomatoes, mushroom and fried egg with fry-lite (free), Liberte yogurt (0.5 syns), apple

Well, had a nice surprise - lost half a lb so am now in the 14 stone bracket which is great. Yesterday was a manic day at work, went to the pub afterwards and went off plan with much vino and cheesy chips - they were great though and also took my mind off work ... today was hangover central so some ill-advised stodge was consumed. Came home this evening and back on it, had grilled bacon medallions with baby brussel sprouts and a fried egg. Having an early night so can get up for a swim before work.
