Ellies Final Fight to Fashion Freedom!

Hello!

I started Slimming World on Wed 6th May 2015 at 19st. I had a brilliant first week and lost 7.7 lbs but then put on a 1lb the following Week. This week - no comment! Eating the right Extra Easy meals but way too much Syns :-(.

So today realised am I going to do this or not???? Its time to get serious! Need to put Syns at the back of my head and focus on all the gorgeous food I CAN have unlimited!

So I thought why don't I start my own diary so I can be accountable to myself and all the amazing slimmers on here! I've loved reading everyone elses diaries so realised I need to get cracking too!

So I vow to come on here on a daily basis and write down how my day went (or how it is going), write my food diary and to even make sure I'm on even if I'm having the worst day ever as I know it will help.

Time for my Stats!

My starting weight on Wednesday 6th May 2015 was 19st.
My Final Target is to be around 11st 7lbs but as Its a long way I made a few interim goals:

My birthday 1st July 2015 - To be 17st. Know its a challenging goal but even to get close to it would be fab! Going away with hubby for a belated bday weekend on 10th July so it would be nice to be feeling a bit better about myself.

Holiday to Crete - Monday 19th October 2015 - To be 14st 7lbs. Still alot I know but I havent seen a weight like this for 20 years so it would be a dream come true.

Christmas - 13st 5lbs - Thinking I could get quite a hot LBD if I'm this weight at Xmas!!!

Final Goal - 11st 7lbs/12st by my 39th birthday on 1st July 2016!

How amazing will it be to enter my 40's looking the best I've looked since I was about 16! I'll be more than happy to party the night away on my 40th!

So anyway, here goes. One thing I've told myself is to not see this as a diet. See it as a great eating plan and enjoy it as much as I can along the way.

I've done meal replacements in the past and lost up to 4/5 stone but they have been far from enjoyable, most of the weight went back on as I missed food so much so all in all not fun. I can now eat anything I like, make amazing enjoyable meals, fantastic low syn desserts. Time to enjoy this journey and make it fun! Diet, What diet????

Hi, welcome to minimins! :) I hope you enjoy your SW journey. You might want to try doing a syn box (it really helps me), I like using my syns on treats like crisps and choccy etc, I put 15 (sometimes less if I want a glass of wine) syns worth of treats into a tin everyday and 'pig out' in the evenings when my cravings kick in! It feels so naughty but still on plan! :)
