I was so proud of myself yesterday, i got up and decided to do a load of batch cooking.

I cooked:

3 portions of Beef curry
2 portions mince beef casserole
2 portions of potatoe wedges
3 portions of pasta and veg soup
2 portions of parsnip and potaote soup
2 portions of mixed veg soup

All now firming packed away in the freezer.

Oh my goodness.....Well done...I should get into batch cooking.
That took some organisation...and your kitchen is still clean at the end...I'd have to take the lot to my neighbours kitchen to take the pics....hahahahahaha

Wow, very impressed. I do lots of soups in batch but not so much other meals. Well done you :)

Yeah i seemed to be on a mission yesterday, after all that cooking i cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom.

I must admit i found the cooking quite relaxig for a change.

It helped with getting great bargins on the veg from aldi.

well done, one meal to cook is enough in a day for me. Sometimes I also get round to doing a quiche as well.

Well done! - you'll be polishing your 'Halo' for ages with that lot!!! We'd never be that organised, frozen boxes of soup from 'chuck-out' veg, and frozen grapes are about our limit!

You're going to feel very virtuous in the coming weeks - we should all aim to do more of this, so thanks for setting an example!

Its funny but I actually like cooking and eating my food the same day!! Nothing to do with freezing stuff, as I do occasionally but I love the whole thing of deciding what I'm going to eat, cooking it (maybe with a glass of wine on the side !) and then sitting down and eating it!!
I find if I cook too much and then freeze it, I just never fancy it again..odd I know!!

But well done to you and if it helps keep you on track, then even better!!
