Started May 2009 Lost weight got to target, got no support so left group and lost the plot and went through the menopause. Back here to get the weight off again
just remember this is what a lb of fat looks like . . No more moaning "I only lost a pound !!"
Here I go for the second time . .
WEEK 1 = 1.5lb loss
WEEK 2 CAR ACCIDENT
Week 3 RECOVERING
WEEK 4 = 1 lb loss
thank god for that ive just eaten 4 cous cous muffins lmao im rather full got a couple left for emergencys as my hubbies away tonight
Week 1-4 = -12 lbs
Week 5-8 =- 9.5 lbs
Week 9-12 = - 7.5 lb
Week 13-16= - 5.5 lbsxmas
Week 17-20= -8 lbs![]()
Week 21= -1 lb
Week 22&23=-2lbs (missed wi due to school hols
Week 24= +0.5 lbmissed week 25
week 26= -1 lb
Week 27= -2lbback on track
Week 28= -1.5 lbs (total 50 lbs loss)
Well 7 weeks off and gained 9lbs so restart
Week 1= -5 lbs
Week 2= -1 lbs
Week 3= -1.5lbs
am in the 16's first time in 6 years
1 1/2 stone done 11/11/2010
xmas goal 2 st DONE !9/12/10
BMI below 40 Done 23/12/2010
3 st ( hubby will give up smoking ) Done 10/02/11
get into the 15's
BMI below 35
I was just about to ask this question as I'm dying to try the lemony one but not worth it if the couscous has to be synned!

the muffins are so simple
1 cup cous cous
1 toffee or vanilla muller light
1 egg
vanilla essence
5 tbsp sweetener
soak the cous cous in boiling water till all absorbed then mix in all other ingredients bake for 40 mins in muffin tin at 180

yeah u only syn it if its used dried which is not how it is intended to be used. So by soaking it and following the instructions it is free

DOH me - i missed the words "soak the cous cous in boiling water"
Although I cannot for the life of me understand why it makes a difference. Its the same stuff, and water has no calories or fat. I am assuming (dangerous i know) that they will be arguing that you will use more dry cous cous than if its bulked up by water, but bearing in mind these cakes are free......go figure? You can still eat a load of the cakes whether dry cous cous went in or not.
I think i have lost the plot somewhere with this.

I can't think of a way of using cous cous without soaking it in water - am I being dim here?
