Hey ho guys and girls....I'm trying to post a profile pic only it doesn't seem to be working.

I've added one on in the user cp bit which says 'this is your current profile pic' but it doesn't seem to show up.

Any ideas...gracias in advance

Kate I can see your profile pic when I click on your profile.

Are you looking to put up an avatar?

Or a signature pic?

Read this below and it might help...

Profile Pictures are photos members can upload that will display in their public member profile. This option may or may not be enabled by the administrator.
How do I set signatures, avatars and profile pictures?
You can set and change your signature, avatar and profile picture in the User Control Panel (providing the administrator has made these options available).
For signatures, click on 'Edit Signature' under the 'Settings and Options' area of the navigation bar within the User CP.
To select an existing or upload a new avatar, click on 'Edit Avatar'.
To upload a profile picture, click on 'Edit Profile Picture' in the 'Your Profile' section.

Avartars are something you do yourself, but it not that hard.

1) Go to the menu at the top of this page, click on the User CP

2) Go to edit avatars and click.

3) Click on use custom avatars

4) Browse your files to find the picture you want to use

5) Click on save changes

6) It will add your pic to your posts automatically.

User CP - edit avatar. Upload the image. If it's not showing it might be too large a file. I'm not good with computers but with me, if I see it, it's working. If not, I drop the size of file. Worked so far...lol xx

When I go into 'Edit Avatar' it won't let me unclick the 'Do not use avatar' option, and won't let me reset the fields. Unless I'm being a complete idiot!

It was the advatar bit....tis all fixed now...hurrah...ta muchley!

Esme....if you upload a pic on the edit advatar bit it automatically unlike ticks the 'do not use' bit.

Newbie and Posting Privileges!

When you are a newbie

You are in a group which has no avatar, limited signature space, no Private messaging other members, no sending email to other members and you cannot upload images to the gallery.

Members can post weight loss ticker link into your signature on joining.

Here is a link with step by step instructions to show you how to do it...

You need the bb code here for ticker and graphics to work.

When you reach 20 posts you get avatar privileges and a larger signature space and can upload images to the gallery.

When you reach 50 posts, you get even more signature space, and private messaging and emailing is enabled.

You need at least 50 posts for your profile page.

You also need 50 posts to post links. You may not post links to personal business sites or personal websites with advertising or websites that are in competition with MiniMins.

I hope you understand the privileges that you will receive for being a long term poster.

50 posts to see profiles.

And you have to wait about an hour for the software to upload your privileges.

When you reach 50 posts, you get even more signature space, and private messaging and emailing is enabled.

Some members have their profile albums private and you can not see them unless you invite them to be your friend or they invite you.

You can view the Photo Gallery once you become a member.
