    Actifry

So i'm trying to convince hubby that i need one, but he is refusing as he thinks its too much money to spend on something that just makes chips. So i need help, what else does it make? do you think its worth it?

How many syns does the actifry add to food? I've seen the machine on the shopping channels but am not sure how it would affect the SW plan?

I agree with your husband! There's nothing an actifry can do that your oven can't, and there's less clutter!

If you use frylight instead of the spoon of oil, its still free.

It makes far superior chips (in my opinion) than the SW oven chips. And nicer roasties.

Yeah our oven is pants (same temp on gas mark 1 as on gas mark 9) so my chips are never that great, can't even replace the oven as we rent. Might see what bargains are about in the new year!

I nearly bought one today too

BUT I saw one of those on chair massagers, and tried it out in comet (go try they're fab) and then couldn't decide which one I'd prefer, so decided to go home & have a think

Wish I'd bought the massager, as I have a bad back & I could be using it now LOl

    Thumbs up ACTIFRY

we bought an actifry months ago. Best kitchen gadget we have spent cash on in a long time. I use FRYLIGHT, so chips are synfree. Can have as many as you like, every day of he week. It is a bit pricey, BUT, best investment we have made in a long time. Well worth it...........healthwise.

Totally agree, we could never be bothered making SW chips in the oven as it was too much messing about and they never turned out right anyway. Now we make chips all the time, even if we just want a quick snack, so much easier.

Can you buy frylight in a different way to the spray then? How do you put enough frylight in otherwise?
