    Climbing back on the wagon.....

    I fell off the wagon rather spectacularly on the 23rd December and have been spiralling out of control since then
    BUT - I am getting back on plan tomorrow! Today will be my last day off plan and I will weigh myself in the morning to see exactly what damage I have done (I'm expecting a good 7 or 8 lb gain, maybe more ).
    I'm looking forward to not feeling bloated and sluggish and the joy of getting on those scales and seeing a loss!
    How guilty do I feel? and I am sooo not looking forward to seeing or announcing how much I've gained. I'm so ashamed of myself but from tomorrow morning I will draw a line under it and start again. Wish me luck!!!!!

    Thank you both! I'm in the right frame of mind to make a fresh start in the morning and have just booked a holiday for the Summer. We are sharing a gorgeous cottage in Wales with friends of ours and there is a hot tub in the garden. I want to be able to actually use the darn thing and not just watch everyone else relaxing in it!!!!! There is no way at the moment that I'll wear a swim suit and the idea of wearing one in front of our friends fills me with horror! But there are 8 months until we go and if I stick to plan I could look a whole lot different by then so you never know!!!!
    How's that for motivation! lol

    God, I could have written that first post! I came off plan on 23rd and have failed to get back onto it as we only got home yesterday. I feel awful (mentally & physically) and am planning my week starting tomorrow. I know I put on 3lbs after xmas but will find out Tuesday what I've put on over NY.
    Good luck - I've got 6m to my wedding!

    1. Get under 15st - 8lbs to go!
    2. Get 1 stone off - 5.5lbs to go!
    3. Get 1.5stone off - 12.5lbs to go!
    4. and the rest!

    Well I weighed myself this morning and was rather pleasantly surprised .... a gain of 2.75 lbs and it's * week too. I expected it to be a lot worse!!! Within 2 weeks that should easily be gone. Looking back at what I was eating/drinking, although most of it was bad, I didn't eat or drink as much of it as I would have done in previous years so I suppose that helped and shows that I have learnt something!
    Anyway back on track today and already feeling better in myself. Off for a long walk with my dog in a bit which can only help.
