Ladies, my average is just under 1lb per week. Everybody wants to lose weight fast but the recommended amount is 1-2lb per week.
If you lose at this rate you are more likely to keep it off for the long run, less likely to have excess skin etc.
You really are doing fab.

I lose slowly, but it means I am 1.5st down now and only a couple of pounds off my target weight of 8.5st. I will take losing slowly as my meals for today are (green), B - porridge, L - Tuna pasta with extra light mayo and linda mccartney sausages, chips, egg and beans for my tea and something chocolatey as well!

I've lost 1.5 stone since the end of September at an average of 1 - 1.5 lbs per week. I'm really happy with that as it's getting my head around it, giving me time to adjust to a different way of eating plus it's giving my body chance to adjust too.
Yes I would love to lose huge amounts and get to my target weight quicker but that wouldn't mean I wouldn't go back to my old eating habits. Slowly but surely is right...I didn't get to the weight I was overnight and so I can wait a bit longer to see a successful result
