Can't find a topic on this but feel its something that should be discussed:

Does everyone know that there is a difference between free food and syn free foods??

Free foods are the foods found on the 'free' pages of ur book.

Syn free foods are foods like mugshots (ee & green) and mullerlights (all plans) that although they have 0 syns they have to be looked up in the back of the book/online and therefore shouldn't be eaten as a free food. They should be seen as a syn free treat.

An example: Swapping mullerlights for natural yoghurt will boost your weight loss!

Ohh well I never knew this!! And this is slimming world round 4 lol. I understand what you mean. Like tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce is syn free yea? But spaghetti is free food.
Intersting! :) something to think about.

Yes-basically if it's not listed under 'free' foods in ur book then it shouldn't be eaten as a free food. It gets v confusing which is y it's not explained. My consultant touched on this the other week and it's really made me think about my food choices xx

It should just be noted though that mugshots are not free on the red plan. Just in case we have any newbies reading who are doing a red day.:D

this could confuse the hell out of me

It's easy when u think about it-if the food isn't listed on the free sections of ur book but is listed in the syns section as free eg mugshots (ee & green) then it should be seen as more of a treat than as a staple part of a meal. Xx
