I'm coming here because I can't go anywhere else - I've literally just had a massive row with my husband over my weight, I am trying, but not hard enough - I think its time to finally do something right with my life.

I've banned myself from being down his end of the house for the rest of the day, I'm going to sort my head out as to what I need to do.

I lost 2 1/2 stone on Slimming World before - whats stopping me from doing it again? i have about four stone to lose, and he's making the effort at college now - so why can't I make an effort to lose some weight? If anything, mine is easier because there's no exams involved. Is there anyone out there like me, that would like a "buddy"?
 
I don't know ur situation but if my other half spoke to me like that n tell me I should lose wieght id quite frankly tell him to **** right of! How dare he! Anyway sorry losing weight works better when ya doing it for your self hun (well that's what I think anyway) as iv tried losing weight for an ex n never worked! As I was always secretly pigging out n not telling him lol! But anyone who's on here seem all like a lovely bunch so all willing to help u on your way hun. Massive hugs n hope ya ok!

thanks - everything he said was true - he's just trying to kick my butt in gear. Not really working though lol x

We're all here to help & support you honey, plan ahead your meals and start cooking from scratch, Peres recipe thread has some lovely ideas in there, make extra do you can freeze it. Together we can fight this flab, but do it for you honey, nobody else x
 
I want to lose 4stones too and I've neer ever stuck to a diet! Now is the time to banish those pounds! Do it for yourself hun!

My boyfriend is the opposite and always tells me there's nothing wrong and that i am beautiful but I know he's just being nice! But I think even if he told me to I'm too stubborn an will only do it for myself lol!

good luck emma :) we've sorted everything out - in the end he told me he's just super worried about me..... so he's calmed down and so have I. Going to do a big load of shopping tomorrow and get everything in that we need! if you need someone to talk to gimme a shout - we're in the same boat! :D
 
Yes that would be brilliant thank you! Im glad its sorted! Theres nothing worse than arguing with someone you love! Ive just posted my first diary entry so I hope that might motivate me a little bit hehe :)

Ha I hve the chubbiest cheeks in the world and was born with them! They defo arnt shifting haha :)
