    Superfree 'Booster' Days

    Hello

I was just wondering if anyone else has occasional 'superfree days' to boost their weight loss at times where it has slowed down? I have only recently started doing these, maybe once every two weeks or so.

    Example day...
Breakfast: Half a grapefruit, an apple and a satsuma
    Lunch: Superfree vegetable soup
Dinner: Steamed cabbage, green beans and brocolli with a tomato, pepper and onion sauce
Snacks: Grapes, melon, apples, bananas etc

I suppose this isn't very slimming world, as it is kind of a detox, but I still don't let myself go hungry on these days and just continue to fill up on superfree.

    Anyone else?

Nope not done this as its not following SW and is pretty low calorie. Not a good idea really.
If you want to boost losses increase the superfree but don't cut out the free food, healthy extras and syns.

Personally there's no way i could do this. I need all my syns and healthy extras lol. Like Jaylou said, increase your SF by all means but this is not part of the SW plan x

I wouldn't even consider this. I don't mean to sound harsh but this is deprivation, even though you say you don't let yourself go hungry. Your body needs balanced intake from all foodgroups. While increasing the superfree is fantastic it shouldn't ever replace the other vital components of the SW plan. If I wanted a boost, I'd do superfree snacks, make my syns (I'd still insist on using them) healthier choices, have fewer carbs (not none, just small portions of healthy carbs) and make damn sure I get my protein and calcium on top of my 3rd superfree with each meal. A boost never requires cutting anything out completely - it just means rearranging things, changing it up and giving your body healthy variation.

Its not v.sw no but up to you of course. I'd say go more for the success express route if you want a shake up which actually says to have 2 hex's if having 2 thirds superfree let alone not having any free foods.

I might find that just replacing these days with a success express day just gives me exactly the same results

Well if I'm honest I have, yeah. The only reason I tried it the first time was because I stayed the same one week after being 100%, and then mid week (of the next week) I weighed myself on my own scales and I was still the same, so I was frustrated. Tried a superfree booster day and then back to normal the next, and I managed to lose 2lbs.

Possibly just coincidental in that case, but has worked on several occasions now I just thought I'd post this to see if anyone else ever does it, but doesn't look like it after seeing all the replies. Oops!

For a really big boost there is a plan called Fast Forward, I think! But the consultants have to talk to you about it on a one to one and its not for the faint hearted I believe.

I do superfree Mondays - but with my hexb and hex a allowances. I think it works for me, and I don't feel deprived - it's difficult to tell how successful it is because I never know what I am going to loose!

I've been ill for a couple of days and living on soup. Literally. I made a huge batch of superspeed soup (about 12 hearty portions) and been having a few of them a day. Maybe it'll help with weight loss. Who knows. Really wish I hadn't been ill though. I have one or two slices of bread Nimble bread with each portion (I syn those over allowance) and still have my cups of tea so I'm still getting HEXA&B.
