Extra Easy Syn values in the book and online are different?!

I've tried searching for syn values for things such as cod in butter sauce, in the book it says 4.5syns for 150g however I read a post on here which said it was 2 syns? Where are people getting these values from? :S I have the food optimising book, is it worth buying the food directory too?

I thought it was 1.5 on ee but 4.5 on k green day? Will look in.my book

The books are as up to date as the day they are printed. Recipes change and manufacturers have different recipes.
The must up to date values are on the SW website.

You have to pay to see the syn values online though don't you? It says 4.5 for EE in my optimising book (2012 edition)?

The syns online is the most up to date.
books are correct a time of going to print but I'd never rely on other sites for syn values as people cn easily get them wrong xxx
