    Speed foods...

    Hi,

Just wondering... Do you purposely chose foods that are speed or super speed to eat? I've been colouring my diary in to highlight how many of each I am eating. Realised I'm hardly eating any super speed... Mainly berries and baked beans...

Not purposely, no. I do choose them when I'm trying to have an extra good week though. They are a good thing to look for when you are struggling.

Baked beans and mushy peas are good but berries are so expensive and pretty tasteless at this time of year, so I don't bother with them.

I'm thinking about getting some frozen berries to have with yogurt for breakfast... I seem to be spending a small... Or rather large fortune on fresh fruit at the moment!!

Yep, that's why I don't buy them out of season - cost a fortune! I'm mostly eating satsumas and pomegranates at the moment!

Frozen berries are okay for through the winter, if you still need them, and they often have offers on them.

Oooh pomegranate... I have memories of picking out the seeds with a cocktail stick :-)

I have been eating Sharon fruits... Yummy but neither speed or super speed :-( better than a mars bar tho!

I eat loads of Speed/SuperSpeed foods daily. I don't really do it purposely, they just seem to be foods I really enjoy. There are loads of speed foods other than berries and baked beans. For example - did you know chicken was a speed food? As are Quorn, cod and tinned tuna.

just look for the SS in your book. We can't give whole lists on here but things like baked beans, mushy peas, garden peas as well as the berries.

You don't have to eat these though and things aren't bad just because they are not S/SS - pomegranates are neither, but still superfree and good for you.

Don't worry too much about it.

I have the books/ lists... I was just wondering how people incorporated these into
There diets or whether they go out of there way to do so...

    Thanks for your replies

I never consciously eat speed and superspeed however I know I eat quite a few, like fruits, chicken quorn and so on. However I want an extra good week this week, so I'm going to track these as well and see what I need to up

I love my speed and super speed foods, I mostly have salad/veg on a daily basis and sometimes buy strawberries and melon.

I do love a good baked bean lasagne & speed soup too x
