target member failing
hi all I joined slimming world in november last year and weighed 11st 2 lb and at only 5ft 3/4 ish I need to lose some weight x well in 14 wks I reached my target weight of 8st 10lbs and was thrilled and have stuck to target ( up n down a little but stil remained in target ) until recently the past mnth or two I have been really struggling and started goin over target and then really fighting to get bak in and I hadnt been to class in 3 wks and the last time I went I was 8st 11lb but when I went tonight I was 9st 2lb :'( thats 5 lb in 3 wks and I just dont have any motivation to bring it back down x any help gladly appreciated x x
I got to my target of 8.11 in the summer & then took my eye off the ball for one reason or other & went up to 9.5! So, I went back to the beginning & started afresh.......
Keep a daily food diary
Gave myself an 11 week challenge of losing 0.5-1lb a week taking me to Xmas
Stay on plan 100%, which I have for 2 months now
No alcohol, which was my downfall as it gave me the munchies the next day
Upped my fluid intake & drink at least 2 liters of NAS a day
Keep active with an exercise you enjoy
Most of all.....enjoy the plan as it works as Im now back down to 8st 11.5lbs
Yes staying at target is quite hard. I think to be honest harder than losing although many would argue that case! Why not ask your c about this and perhaps ask her if you could sit in on the new member talk. This may refresh you and you can start the week with renewed optimism. You will get back to target I dont doubt that. As others have said, just go back to basics. And think of the money you will save again!
