    calculating syn values

    Hi is there formula for calculating syn values like there is on ww? Or is there an app for your phone out there that does/recommended?

    1 syn for every 20 cals where there is no free food allowance-so things like sweets, cakes, crisps, biscuits, tinned soups, jars of sauce-other wise you need access to syns online-but that's free when you join group anyway-and there is an app for iPhone and android, and a mobile optimised site too. HTH

    If its shop bought then you would need to look it up on syns online as there is no way to work it out yourself
