    IBS and SW

I suffer with IBS and struggle with what to have for breakfast. As breakfast is the first meal of the day its the one that effects me most and I have to be really careful what I have. Cereal is out so I generally have some sort of egg (poached, omlette etc) with some fruit. But this is getting a bit repetative. Does any one have any good ideas on tasty cold (because we dont have a micro at work) breakfasts.

    Thanks guys

What type of cereals cant you have? or is it everything? just so we can give you some ideas. Can you have porridge? you could try magic porridge if can, all you do is 35g porridge in a container with a muller light yogurt mixed in and left in the fridge over night and take to work and it doesnt need cooking.

Some of my favourite recipes are:

Porridge with treat size pack of chocolate buttons

    Omelette

    Bacon or sausage sarnie

Poached or fried egg on toast

Baked beans or spaghetti hoops on toast

Poached egg on large flat mushrooms

    Yogurt and fruit

Cereal bars such as special k chewy delight or Weetabix oaty bars

    HiFi bars

    Toast plain or with jam

    Toasted bagel with phili

And here's something I made a while ago but not eaten recently.....
