    Am I right in thinking

    Just so I get my head round this
    Any meet as long as mince is lean and any other the visible fat is trimmed off? And then make sure your plate has 1/3 veg?

    Well what a twit I have been avoiding steak etc!! Oh yes I ment extra lean, do you have to drain excess fat or anything? And thank you

    Mince has to be less than 5% fat so typically the pack that's the smallest and most expensive, lol

    I find that my local butchers is MUCH cheaper than supermarkets for extra lean mince, I pay £2.50 for 500g, supermarkets charge about £4!! X

    If you use extra lean there won't be any fat to drain off! Make sure the mince is 5% fat or less xx
