    Does this work?

    Hello,

So I am probably just repeating old posts but I thought I would just ask - does Slimming World really work? I have been on WW and Exante (I lasted 2 weeks) before and SW seems very similar to WW with one major difference - I can eat lots of pasta, rice and potatoes - I think this is where I am finding it hard to believe!!!

Anyway I went to my first meeting on Monday and think I am doing ok with understanding everything, just have to be more prepared as am sat in work at the moment and am absolutely starving and have an hour till lunch!!!!

Will keep plodding on and see how I do next Monday!

    Sarah

Sorry if that came across as a bit flippant, have you read the magazine? Seen the success stories on here and on the website? You might be able to have unlimited pasta etc but a lot of foods are limited.

Stay to your group and see the success of the people there!!!

    Hi Jaylou,

I realise I sounded a bit stupid as I can see after looking around on the site and seeing the success stories but after doing weight watchers and having to weigh absolutely everything it is just so strange to me to be able to eat things like a baked potato or pasta without worrying! I am going to stick to it 100% - think this is the plan for me as I can actually see it fitting in to my life more than WW did.

Will make sure and buy the magazine at my next group meeting.

    Thanks

    Sarah

I always say to people who look at my food with wide eyes, that they need to trust the plans. Just trust it, follow it, don't tweak it, and it really does work.

There's pros and cons to all diets, on WW I loved bagels and wraps and sandwiches etc and I miss them on SW but its swings and roundabouts.
They are both fab, it's just picking one which suitsbb

It really, really does work. X
