My 25th Birthday in October, ideally id like to have lost 4 stone by then... But lets see! Hi I have stuck to SW and have been very impressed with the whole thing and my weight loss so far I have been amazed at what I have lost, a regular amount every week I'm obviously putting the mockery on tomorrow's weigh in lol but I proud of my achievement thus far and it would not have happened without SW.
    Onward & Downward
    Month 1 = 18lbs off
    Month 2 = 14.5lbs off
    Month 3 = 11lbs off
    Month 4 = 10.5lbs off
    wk 17 2.5lbs off

Hi, I joined slimming world in October last year and to date have lost 39 1/2 lbs. I have never been hungry and the only weeks where I haven't had a loss have been when I haven't trusted the plan and over thought what I'm eating. Good luck

Stick with the plan it really does work! try to mix the plans up EE, red, green days just to mix things up and so you eat a vary of things and don't get bored. I print recipes from the SW website and from here and I keep a huge recipe folder so trying new recipes and cooking is great (minus the washing up!) read and re-read your books and carry them with you everywhere, get a food directory if you can, mine is like my Bible! Keep a food diary too (does really make you think twice about cheating if it's in black and white!), make sure to have your healthy extras and syns - they are part of the plan so don't think by not having them it will boost your losses, been there and got the tshirt it doesn't work so enjoy them! If you have a bad day, fall off plan don't panic just get straight back on it and don't feel bad about it we are all human and it happens it's what you do after that makes the difference... Think it of a lifestyle change NOT a diet.... Good luck

    Hi

    Trust the plan!
I've been doing SW since end of September and have lost 3 and a half stone.

If you stick to plan it really works and there's hardly any weighing involved (apart from Hex's) so it really is 'user friendly'.

    Good luck x

    Hi,

I'm starting sw at home today so just wanted to wish you luck. I've been mainly doing ww and have the same problem in that I'm fed up of counting everything the same way you do with cc.

I've done sw before but always quit because I don't like the consultant in my area so that is why I'm doing it at home. Hopefully using this site will give me enough motivation to keep going.

Good luck and let us know how your getting on,

    Dan x

    HI
I have been doing sw since April last year (48 weeks my consultant today) and with a period of 6 weeks where I was trying to maintain rather than lose I have lost 3 stone 6.5. It i ps a brilliant lifestyle change and I would say plan a menu each week this makes sure you always have something in to eat, and set yourself mini goals, I always focus on my next half a stone. So I am looking to get that last half a pound for my 3 and a half stone next week.also try new recipes look at the magazines and the web for inspiration. Good luck x

    Good luck on your journey!
I still write a weekly menu and a weekly food diary! I find this is very useful to keep track plus you can look back to see what works best for you.
When I started I modified all the foods that I liked to a SW version, this way I stuck to SW. As others have said, learn your books, put the syn App on your phone if you can, this is useful when shopping, only buy healthy foods, no rubbish, this way you will not be tempted.
Best of luck, you should easily loose the weight you want to get to as a loss average of 2.2 LBs per week is not a hard amount to go for, this will give you the loss you want!.
