The dreaded 2 week curse!

Does this happen to anyone else? you start a new eating plan, loose loads the first week then the next week nothing!
its not my weigh in day yet but i haven't lost anything yet this week, but this always happens to me,
anyone else not lose on their second week?
even though i know its normal, its still disheartening :/
 
Stick with it. My scales were registering no loss even on Wed morning which is weigh in day. I had lost by that evening though! :) I am sure the scales will show a loss for you this week x

btw - you started at pretty much the same weight as me - thanks to Slimming World I am nearly at 5 stone loss in 9 months :) If I can do it anyone can!
 
I have this silly obsession of constantly weighing myself and if I'm honest I hardly ever notice myself losing weight (if anything it seems like I'm gaining it most of the time). However I keep exercising and keep eating to plan and the weight keeps coming off. I think the solution is to either throw away your scales or get someone to hide them. That way you won't demoralize yourself through the week.
 
Do you weigh in at group or at home? If at group throw your old scales away...or hide them...only trust your group scales! Stick with it and GOOD LUCK! xx
 
thank you :) , grr its so annoying lol, i weigh in at home as i do slimming world online,but i am thinking of letting my hubby hide the scales till weigh in day lol

RS79 wow well done, i have lost 7 stone in the past so i know how great it feels to be slimmer, just wish i could get back there x
 
why not get rid of your scales and go to Boots and get weighed every week, down side is you can't get neked but up side is you get a little print out and no mid week weighing temptation x
 
I think when u have a lot to lose it can be hard to keep focus on weeks like this.. My last SW resulted in 3 stones in about 3 month but this time its MUCH slower but I'm keeping to it coz eventually it WILL work ! Don't let this week get you down
 
Pinkx,, wow thats amazing 3st in 3 months , i really need to lose 3st but i have 4 months until my holiday , could you please give me some tips what plan did you follow, how many syns did you have ,, exercise i know everybody is different , but allot of peoples stores are really inspirational xx many thanks x
