    Slimming World Weigh day OCD

    Is anyone else a little OCD when it comes to SW?

    For example i cant go to weigh in unless i am in my leggings and 'weigh in' top! Otherwise i think i will weigh AT LEAST 5 ounces heavier haha!

    I also wont have pasta before weigh in cos it will bloat me?!

    Any other silly slimmers out there???

    Yep me!! I try not to eat heavy foods from the night before in case they bloat me, always have a light lunch on the day (salad, sushi, something similar), and then have my last cup of tea 2 hours before... totally totally OCD! Just want to ensure everything's consistent every week so I don't get any artifical losses/gains since I tend to lose small amounts per week

    Yep me too! There's a little part of me that wants to rebel one week and wear jeans and eat a massive tea before I go, but I'd be devastated if it resulted in a gain on the scales, even if I knew it wasn't real!!

    I have to wear the lightest clothes that i have like my leggings and t shirt or my asian thin clothes which arent quite appropiate for this weather lol. Also i now weigh in in the morning but when i was a evening weigher if i ate after half 2 i would panic lol x

    yes i do the same things the day before, and have my weigh in clothes, i get weighed at 9.30 and have nothing to eat or drink before it, im gasping for a coffee by the time i get off the scales!

    Oh wow, I thought it was only me that had certain things I do every weigh in. I never ever wear leggings outside of the house, I am too self conscience, but come weigh-in day I am there wearing my leggings and the thinnest lightest top I own, I even take off my wedding and engagement ring which never comes off. In fact for a reasonably self conscience person I will happily stand in line , waiting to be weighed and take off all my layers (really cold lately) and let the whole world and its aunt see my bottom in leggings. I also try and eat as lightly as possible and go to the toilet as many times as possible before weigh in.

    I know its not rational and ridiculous , however it calms me down as I always panic that I might have gained 5lbs overnight.

    When I went to SW I did exactly the same - chose a morning class so I would weigh less, no logic to it as I would have been weighed at same time each week if I had chosen an evening class. That would have caused problems as I would have had to have eaten the same thing on that day each week.
    Even weighed my tops to see which weighed the least and wore that one every time.

    At home it is out of bed and then nothing to drink and no weighing until I have been to the loo.

    Me too Systema - I actually weighed my tops to see which one was lightest lol- crazy! I weigh in in the morning and aways eat a light dinner the nigt before so I'm not bloated come morning.

    Reading this thread is so amusing! The things we do hey?!

    I weigh in at home on a Thursday morning so the night before I don't eat anything heavy. I get up, go to the toilet and go straight down stairs (where my scales are) just in underwear and place the scales in exactly the same place each week.... and pray! lol x
    Goal for 2013... lose 70lbs 20lbs lost-50lbs to go
    Jan to April -12lbs
    May -8lbs

    I have a weigh-in day ritual as well, always wear the same clothes, always eat the same meals, have a wee before weighing etc. but THIS week I have to deviate from my routine, because instead of weighing in the evening I have to weigh in the morning and I am feeling rather worried and very nervous about it! Talk about OCD!
