Avoiding carbs at dinner
I'm thinking of doing this as my weight is so slow to come off. I'm so up & down at the moment. I could not do whole days of red days as I'm not a big meat or fish lover, I love my carbs!
I work til 8pm so by the time I'm home and eating its usually 9pm. So I thought if I just have red meals at night but still following extra easy, it may boost my weigh loss. What do you all think??
I try avoid carbs if i can. I still hav one night a week pasta and the odd sweet potato. I try sibsitute chips, mash and spaghetti by turning veg into them. Courgette or aubergine fries, cauliflower mash, pepper or asparagus spaghetti. Or squash spaghetti. Not all the time but if im feeling a bit bloated!
Cauliflower rice and butternut squash chips or an accompaniment of lots of roasted veg (peppers, courgettes, carrots, red onion) are good subs for carbs. I sometimes do the same just to get things moving again but I do like my carbs so I do9n't like to do it all the time as it isn't sustainable for me.
