struggling!!

Hi guys and dolls! I've been a slimming world slimmer since january this year, at the beginning my weight loss was brilliant, I stuck to the plan down to a T, was fitting in excersize where I could and the weight was falling off me, sometimes 6lbs a week. In the last 2 months im lucky to have half a lb, but usually a gain or maintain. I know why it is, I'm not sticking to the diet, at all. Totaly lost all motivation but I do still so badly want to have a nice slim body, be healthy and confident. Ivelost 3stone, still have 2stone5.5lbs to go (that's if I haven't gained this week) is anyone in the same boat? Would love to hear other like-minded struggling dieters stories and how you've overcome the rebelling phase! Love from boo x
 
I could have written that myself! I was in your situation just a few weeks ago, having regained 9.5lb of the weight I'd lost over a bad couple of months! I was having gain after gain, through not sticking to plan, but I carried out going to group and just sticking with it.

Then two weeks ago, something just clicked. I realised I had not gotten this far, wasted all of my time, energy and money to just blow it and put al of this weight back on. I got back on plan on 14th August and have been 100% ever since - I lost 3.5lb last week and 4lb this week, so my 9.5lb gain is almost gone again.

It feels great to be back in control and I now have the passion for Slimming World again that I had previously. I look forward to each day and especially weigh day, because I can't wait to get on the scales and see how I've done each week - rather than dreading it and expecting yet another gain!

Similar to you, I still have 2st 2.5lb to go until Target, but I am confident that if I carry on like this then I will be there in no time. That is all the motivation I need. You too will find your mojo again - if I can do it, then anyone can! Good luck :)
 
Thankyou so much for your reply Stevie, so reassuring to hear that you've got back on track, makes me reaise that I can too! Its my birthday next wednesday and I can't go to my class on Monday due to no babusitter. So my plan of action is - have this next week and a bit not stuffing my face but just eating what I fancy and enjoying a litte break from watching what I eat and definitely not feeing guilty for it, go to group Monday 9th, and from that date there will be nomore feeing sorry for myself, I'm going to grab the skinny bull by its horns, new age new attitude, brilliant weight losses every week until I get to 11stone where I will stay :) thanks again for your very motivating post and keep up the bril work :)
 
Why wait until then? Classes are child friendly so you don't need to worry about childcare, even if you just pop in and get weighed and then leave.

From personal experience, the longer you leave it the worse it gets. I know you say you will not stuff your face, but is that true? Again, from personal experience, I know that having "a little bit of what I fancy" only makes me crave more and I end up completely off the rails.

Fair enough it's your Birthday, and you should definitely enjoy that! But just think, it's only one day a year. Is that really an excuse to be off plan from now and the next week and a half?

At the end of the day it's your choice, and I respect that. But I just wanted to offer advice based on my own experiences :)
