Extra Easy Slimming World Lunch

Hi there,

I have recently moved out with my boyfriend and have been relying on takeaways for dinner, so I have decided to start with slimming world as it’s not been too good for my waistline!

At first I was thrilled with the fact you can eat so much of certain foods as this can be my downfall of eating too much.

Although it’s great you can eat jacket potatoes and beans, cottage cheese, ham, chicken mince, etc, I’m getting a bit bored and seem to be having the same things!

My problem is with lunches as I don’t always have the time or mind set in the morning to prepare my lunches as I’m not very good of thinking of things to eat, I’m more of a convenient person.

I work in a town and do tend to like to get out of the office to by lunch and have access to a Waitrose, cafes, Italian restaurants and others like McDonalds, KFC but I’ll stay clear of those!

I seem to only be buying Jacket potatoes with either tuna no mayo or beans and cottage cheese or a mug shot with some cooked chicken fillets from the fridge in Waitrose. Or il make a salad in the morning and have with a vinaigrette dressing and ham or fried bacon with no fat.

I am getting bored of these options and can’t seem to think of anything else I can have on the go and buy out on a lunch break rather than making the night before and although they are not high in fat or calories, I do love a microwave meal when it’s cold or a nice warm soup but these tend to be really high in sins?

Can’t seem to get my head around it but I’m going away in November to Egypt and really want to stick at this for that!

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, Thanks xx

Pasta n sauce are great to take to work when you can't be arsed. Just wack them in the microwave for 8 mins with boiling water and they vary from 1 - 2 syns I think per pack. Just be sure to pack out your lunch with your 1/3 superfree :)

If you love soup why don't you make some SW soups? There will be lots of recipes here for low syn or even syn free soup, that way you can take it to work and microwave it or take it in a flask. Check out the recipe threads :)
