Feeling heavy

Evening all!

I woke up feeling heavy today and still feel it now.
I've kept to plan and everything- drinking loads of water too but I've been hungrier than usual the last few days and eaten for example 3 days of rice and veg in 2 days and 3 days of pasta and veg in 2 days. Everything was cooked well and there was a LOT of veg in both these dishes- I'm talking onions, garlic, canned tomatoes, courgettes, sweetcorn, peppers etc in LARGE quantities.

But here I am feeling HEAVY.

I think the other thing is I had 4 slices of 400g bread yest. Two as HeB and 2 slices late last night because I was STARVING and fruit just wasn't cutting it. I synned the second round of course but I think I must be eating tooooo much. But I've been feeling hungry! :-(

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise eating more than I usually do is likely to result in an increase in weight. But SW promises that I can eat until I'm full.

It's making me nervous. I ate TWO sweet potatoes with my dinner!!! TWO!!!!
Heavy and nervous.

Anyone else ever feel like this?

Are you actually full or is it a head hunger?

Yes. All the time haha. It's no secret that until you metabolise that food it will show as a gain. That's why we weigh more in the evenings than in the mornings. If you ate a pound of pasta or potato you will gain the pound initially in the same way you would if you stood on the scales holding it in your hands.

We all have fat days and, for me, less fat days. I know if I eat too many carbs it takes my body longer to break them down than it does protein. This has advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that its slow release energy and keeps you fuller for longer. The disadvantage is a direct link to this in that it takes longer to digest so sticks around for longer causing me to feel a bit heavier and I certainly experience more bloating. Nice.

It will pass, let your body do its job and maybe do some exercise to use up the energy. This will rev the metabolism too so can only be a good thing! :)

Also if its anywhere approaching TOTM you may find your sugar and iron levels are depleted and this can make you hungry. Keep up the fluids as much as poss, get some of that butter mint tea down you! ;)

This is exactly how I feel too. Kimberley and I were posting very similar worries this morning about feeling a bit heavy! I am craving sugar, salt, spicy, enough chocolate to sink the titanic wouldn't be enough to soothe me at the moment!!
It must be PMF (pre menstrual feeding) or PMFBS (pre menstrual fat b::::: syndrome)...
Either that or I'm preggers (food baby)

It's probably just one of those things... just make sure that you're making healthy choices, drinking lots of water, eating fruit/veg instead of other free foods where possible and maybe doing some exercise or an activity with friends/family in the hope that it passes!

I always find that hard boiled eggs are really filling when fruit and veg just isn't cutting it! x

just re-visiting some of my old shizz.
I ended up losing 1.5lbs that week! I think I need to up my food! Lol. ironic
