How many weeks off a year?

How many weeks does your consultant allow off?

My original consultant said 4 weeks

However I've just switched and this lady has said just to book weeks off or text her!!

Would love to know what the rules are? ?!

    Thanks in advance

How many weeks off a year?

Hi I think the rules are 6 weeks a year. Consultants do have the power to override back fees in case such as hospitalisation, bereavement etc

It's 6 weeks off a year. You can text your consultant but the holiday won't be registered on your card so if you had to go to another group it wouldn't be registered and you would have to pay the back fee. Best thing to do is to book your holidays when you hand your card over to pay.

    Hope this helps!

Aah think I'm at my limit then! Getting pricey. . Think I might just rejoin in new year rather than pay 5 weeks!

Just say you can't make it due to work shifts, then it doesn't count into your 6 weeks.

You won't pay 5 weeks, you only ever pay a maximum of 14.85 which is two missed weeks.
Why don't you text your consultant for a holiday week and then you won't incur a back fee?

And i would only book people out on shift if they registered as a shift worker when they joined - us consultants get wise to that one ;-)

Re: How many weeks off a year?

I always end up paying 15 quid every payday as I end up unable to afford it! Its a right pain!

I'll drop her a line see what she says. Thanks

Could you buy a countdown? That's how I'm managing it... I buy a 12 week countdown when I have the cash and then don't have to worry about it

    Mini Goals:
    Reach my Club 10 weight of 14st 12.5lbs 22/11/2013
    Get under 200lbs (14st 3.5lbs)
    17/01/2014
Hit the half way mark (13st 11lbs)
    21/02/2014
Fit comfortably into size 16 jeans
    29/03/2014
    Be at my pre-pregnancy weight (12st 13lbs)
    04/04/2014
Fit comfortably into size 14 jeans
BMI in the healthy range (11st 10lbs)

I didn't know we could block buy.. I thought it was just that Christmas countdown

Would be so handy to pay in chunks!

You can buy a countdown at any time, just sometimes you get an offer with a book :-)

I can't stretch to it at all over the xmas period. Probably not until end jan / feb ... Think I'll just rejoin in January. Be easier than paying! !

With the countdown you get two weeks free if you book a twelve week one, one week free if you buy the six week one, but you have to tell them on pay if you have any hols in that period as they cant be booked once its all gone through the system. Hope this helps x
