    I'm starving! - extra easy!

Don't know what's wrong with me today, I've got the proper munchies! Had fruit for breakfast, pasta bolognese with cheese for lunch, mini milkybar at break time and dinner was supposed to be veg soup and bread but after demolishing that I was still starving and had steak and SW chips! Used both hex's and 11.5 syns and had lots of super free but I'm still hungry! I've drunk lots of water too so it's not dehydration, does anyone else get like this from time to time? I'm so glad I've not stocked up on high syn snacks, I'm off to find the pickled onions! :-)

Yes I get like it, yesterday was one of those says I hD sw chips and mushy peas after my tea and evening and cheese and biscuits. I would say eat I made the mistake of not eating when I felt like thus because I felt like I wasn't allowed and then binged on syns because I was rebelling against my strict restraints I had put on myself.

I've been pretty good and stayed within syn allowance, but only because I haven't got anything bad in the house to eat! A hot chocolate for 2 syns should tide me over until the morning :-)

Yes! I have days like this and they can be dangerous, sounds like you've done well to eat plenty of free foods! If I'm having a day like that I try to bulk up meals with pasta/potato!

This may be tmi but I get this 8 days exactly before I ovulate and it usually lasts a couple of days. Only realised this when I started SW as I was paying more attention to my body! I find I have to keep reminding myself that even if I stuff myself, I'll probably still be hungry, so there's not much point.... Distraction is key for me!

I always say that if you feel hungry and you've had plenty of fluid so you know you're not dehydratred then eat. As long as you stay on plan eat what you want until you feel satisfied.

From what you've posted I don't actually think you ate a lot. I'd be starving if I just had fruit for breakfast! I have that problem every Thursday as I have WI at 10am so don't eat until after group, other than a banana! I think you probably need to eat more at breakfast in order not to feel hungry later in the day. I like to try and ensure that I have some protein every morning, ie something like boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, full English, bacon sandwich.

For example my menu yesterday was: B - HEB porridge made with water with Vanilla Muller stirred through followed by some fruit; mid morning more fruit. L - jacket potato and beans with side salad; mid afternoon pink 'n' white; D - teryaki salmon, stirfried veg, noodles. During the evening I ate a couple of fruit split ice lollies. My HEA was milk in tea throughout the day.

So everything was within plan including 8.5 syns and I ate far more than you and didn't feel hungry at all.

    Denise
