Speed foods help

I am trying to increase my speed foods in the hopes of jogging my weight loss along a little.
I understand which foods I have to eat and how many etc but how much of each food should I be aiming for?
For example if it just says strawberries how do I know how many is enough.
Any help or views would be great.

Hi,
Ive managed to find this http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/5ADAY/Documents/Downloads/5ADAY_portion_guide.pdf hope it helps.

Just remember not to eat more than you want because a list tells you to. Certainly with fruit as they have a lot more natural sugars. We had someone in group annoyed she didnt have a bigger weightloss because all she had eaten was fruit but it was more than you would eat of any 1 food. As long as your not eating a whole punnet of strawberries as one serving I think you're ok haha.x.x.

I think it's partly about replacing foods you'd normally choose with speed foods from the same food group. For example, if you'd normally eat a handful of grapes, have the same amount of melon or pomelo instead. If you'd normally have some potatoes, try some parsnips instead. Or try replacing oily fish with white fish (as long as you still have a serving of oily per week if you eat fish, it's good for you!). Or chicken with pulses.

Remember as long as you follow the 1/3 superfree rule, it's only limited by your appetite! If you eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full you should be fine.

I eat a lot of fruit (about a Tupperware full of fruit salad many days) and lose 1-2lb a week which is fine with me.
