Disapointed with my loss this week

Just been weighed and hoped for at least a 2 pound loss but have only lost half a pound this week, I feel really disappointed with it as I've been on plan 100%. I've had about 70 syns for the week. I do plenty of walking everyday but probly didn't do as much this week and didn't have as much fruit and probly didnt eat as Much. Over the past 9 weeks I've lost in total 1 stone 3 pounds and desperately want my 1 and half stone award before Xmas, just can't see it happening now. Do you think if I have a few more syns this week and up my superfree intake and did that bit more exercise it can make a difference ?

It probably wouldn't make much different walking a bit less for one week unless you really are doing hours every day most of the time.
It's possible it could be eating less that did it, esp if you also had fewer syns than usual. Or maybe a mistake in the programme that you've missed (in week 5 I somehow got it in my head that the hexbs were more than they really were, so I was eating extra cheese for a few weeks before I noticed...too confident that I knew the plan!) If you're not sure I'm sure people would be happy to comment on a sample food diary.

How many syns would you normally have had in a week - more or less than 70? If so maybe return to your usual pattern this week.
Has the distribution of your syns been different, eg most of your syns on one day rather than spread through the week?
Have you had your 1/3 superfree with every meal and for snacks? (I assume yes as you say you were 100% but just checking as you've had less fruit than usual).
Plenty of water and fibre?

If not, it could just be one of those blips where the body decides it needs to rest at a certain weight for a bit... or you gained hormonal water weight (which doesn't happen at the same point for everyone)... if so, hold out for a decent loss next week, you never know. Hope you get your award but don't put too much pressure on yourself if not, you're doing what you can and you know the plan will work long term as you've had great losses so far.

I normally have on average 10 syns a day however on a Wednesday which is weigh in day I have 15 and also on a Friday and Saturday I have 15 too so I've had around 15 less syns than usual. I have 2 hex a as I'm breastfeeding my daughter still but normally have 250ml of semi skimmed milk and 3 baby bells lights then eithur have a 60g wholemeal roll or a hi fi bar for my b choice. I always have my meals with a 3rd superfree but probly haven't been having superfree as snacks, I've had quite a lot of muller lights this week to snack on. I normally walk about 2 miles a day but have probly been only doing 1 mile a day this week, I really need to up my exercise, been meaning to go swimming for such a long time but it's finding the time to do it with my daughter and arranging someone to look after her.

Also looking back on last week, I didn't drink as much water as usual and I normally eat quite alot of melon, I normally buy ready prepared melon chunks from asda and have a bag of them every day as snacks but asda was out of stock so didn't end up buying any, I also started my period last week for the first time since having my daughter and I've heard that can make a difference but not so sure. Will look back on my food diary and post a typical day later on. Thanks

It sounds like you know what you're doing and there's nothing major in there to explain this week's smaller loss. I know some people do find that having too many Mullerlights can slow their losses though - after all they have 99calories in them (and can have odd digestive impacts too...) I'd say focus on having superfree snacks this week (even if it's just swapping every other yoghurt for fruit), keep following the plan and allow yourself your normal number of syns if you want them, and you never know. How many weigh ins do you have before Christmas? If it's 2, you COULD lose 2lb and 2lb to get your award if you would rather do that than relax in the lead-up to the festival, or you might be surprised next week and do even better... but I'm sure you'll get it soon whatever happens.

Ah there you go then, sounds like you have plenty of little changes to work on this week and fingers crossed it's water weight that will drop off over the next few days!

Fingers crossed I get a bigger loss next week , only 1 more weigh in till Christmas as the one after falls on Christmas Day so will have a weigh in 2 days after Christmas. Think I need to stop eating so many yogurts and snack on fruit instead.

Here's a menu from a typical day of mine
Breakfast muller light with banana, pear and apple

Lunch cous cous, chicken, lots of salad, banana and muller light

Snack hi fi bar and melon and grapes

Dinner butternut squash rissoto , with onion, garlic, celery with rocket and 45g feta cheese as hexa

Also use 250ml semi skimmed milk as second hex.

Syns are normally chocolate which would normally be galaxy ripple 8.5 syns, danio yogurts strawberry 1 syn.

You do eat a lot of yogurt! haha.
I wouldn't worry too much, it seems like you've hit the nail on the head, which is brilliant :) Melon is full of water so you might find that your bosy is missing the extra water from that too.

Star week definitely makes a difference aswell, its not impossible to lose on that delightful week (I've had a 4lb loss before, but I've also had a gain) its just what your body wants to do I think.

Hope you get the results you want this week, You've done really well so far, especially while breast feeding :)

Could well just be your body doing a naughty to you, you mentioned that you have been on, but been on plan, many people gain around the TOTM, some before, some during and some after, you'll probably notice a pattern as you continue, but hey, you can't control that.

You'll also probably find, that if you stick 100% again this week, you'll have a great loss next WI, so, please don't be disheartened - you're doing really well, hang in there
