what have I done :(

Well I've been working my last two sw groups so I have sort of used that as an excuse to indulge in anything I can get my hands on.. I've been eating pure rubbish since last saturday and last night I had a little party and I just topped it off with chocolate eclairs, profiteroles, cupcakes and alcohol :(.. I was doing so well and I feel like I've really messed it up for myself this time! I've had the odd day when I've gone over syns ect but never ever a whole week. I feel so angry with myself and completely down in the dumps if I'm honest.. :( people laugh and people that diet and say its not that hard.. Its the hardest thing I've ever done.. :( I was doing so well, bet I've put all the weight I lost back on in this week. Oh well only myself to blame right?!

There is no way that you could regain all you have lost. So you had an off week. We all do it and I find that sometimes that can really help refocus me. If I'm coasting a bit and I think all is well I can get lazy.

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off. The way I see it is that if you were doing that all the time before, like I was, then what's a week in the grand scheme of things? If you put a few lb on you will still be at a lower weight than when you started. Be kind to yourself and don't make it a failure, make it a reason to succeed!!

Don't be too hard on yourself.we have all fallen off the wagon at some point.just draw a line under it and get back too it 100%from now.just a bump in the road x

Awwh Ghostie, I know how horrible it feels when you just fall off the wagon but sometimes these things happen, were human! The best thing to do is to just draw a line under it and then carry on back on plan for the week and see how the weigh in goes. If there's a gain, you can use it to motivate yourself for the next week to do better. I doubt you've put it all back on, sometimes surprised how I've done when I haven't been 100% some weeks (A girl in my group last week lost 1/2 after eating ben & jerrys, lucky thing!!)

Thank you all for your advice, really made me feel better :) xx

I've done the exact same, I graduated at the weekend and threw all caution to the wind and was eating sausage rolls, alcohol, pastries etc
Dreading wi this week but it has definitely focused me again! These things happen, just dust yourself off and get back on it

My consultant (and now I) always say Weight loss is a journey, You've just taken a scenic detour. It happens to the best of us and at least your sticking around and want to get back on track. The easiest thing yo could have done is throw in the towel, but you're here :) .x.x.

As others have said, draw a line under it & go forward!our hardest time is coming up in the next few days & a lot of us will put weight on, so what! it will come off in the following weeks so go for it, enjoy, life is for living. Have a happy Christmas!

We've all been there, I'm much better now, but I'd no I wasn't going to WI for say one or two wks, and I'd 'relax' such a bad move.

what helped me was, the support on here, starting a diary on here, taking pics of my food - this is the best as it really makes you think, and changing groups.

today is a new day and you can be on plan, yes it's coming up to Christmas & it's hard, but with a bit of planning you can do it. Go to class, find out if you have gained & move on, ok you'll feel bad if you have gained but it is a little roller coaster journey were on.

also what helps me is keeping a track of the syns I'm having even if I go over.

good luck;)

Thank you so much guys.. I kick myself so badly when I fall off the wagon but its just been hard getting back into it as its xmas now!! I hate this time of year from a dieters view lol :)
