After spending the last 2 weeks literally dodging tins of biscuits and chocolates in meetings, coffee tables at work and staff room treats. I have finally cracked, a really helpful and generous manager has put a tin of retro sweets next to the signing in book! Arrrgh! No fair

I know the feeling, it was my little girl's and nannas birthday this weekend, I have TWO lots of birthday cake in the house. I'm taking them to work tomorrow!

Feel your pain! Everday feels like a new tin of biscuits or sweets pops up in the staffroom..have resisted so far but now starting to get chocolate gifts from my class eek!

I definitely know what you mean today! I'm working at a clients today and they've brought in a massive amount of Christmas snacks, plonked them ALL right next to me on the desk I'm working on and said 'help yourself'! There's cold pizza, vegetarian samosas, onion bhajis, chocolate cakes, Pringles, snack mix, twiglets, stollen bites, cranberry and chocolate bites to name just a few! I'm resisting so hard, luckily I don't like eating food that clients offer me so I should be able to avoid it but the smell of pizza is making my stomach rumble and my bag of carrot sticks look pathetic!!

It can be so hard at work seeing everyone else just going for it, but apparently not having to worry about their weight!
I've had to impose a blanket ban on myself from mince pies. None are allowed til Christmas Eve, except at my friend's party!
Fortunately my colleagues are aware I'm on SW so if I say 'no' to chocolate (which I have managed to turn into an automatic habit now) they are nice and don't ask again or pressure me. And the snacks table is the other side of the room which helps a lot.

I have just bought two large boxes of yummy chocolate biscuits from Waitrose (marked down from £6 to £1.20) to go with the tea for a meeting I am organising on Wednesday. Had to get them - they were such a bargain - but I have had to leave them in the car so I don't get tempted!
