Just a quick hello to everyone out there! I use this website as my bible (for SW info), so thought it might be about time to join I've been on SW for the past month and been doing the NHS couch to 5k - so all would appear to be in hand though I do feel a plateau coming on! hate those... the fact that I have a horrendously runny nose is probably not helping matters either x anyway, hopefully I will be able to contribute something on here just so that I could thank you all for a wealth of knowledge that I keep uncovering here. basically you commit to a certain weightloss in Jan (mine is 5lbs for example) and Daz adds you to his spreadsheet. Then each week you weigh in and post your results and he keeps a tally. It helps to keep you focused and because everyone can see the spreadsheet as Daz is so amazing at keeping on top of it it makes you competitive to hit your target.

Morning Sam - good luck on your SW journey. Once your up and running you might find it helpful to keep a food diary and then everyone can help keep you on track/motivated if you feel yourself slipping or something isnt going quite as you would like
