Hi there, with it being a new year and full of promises of change etc.......well this is why I am here! I am heading to join Slimming World tomorrow, the class is normally on a Tuesday but they are doing one tomorrow so I have decided just to bite the bullet and join tomorrow instead of waiting until the 7th when by that time I will have told myself "I can do it on my own" so I am just really looking for support and help from anyone that can offer me any. Thanks, happy new year to you all

Welcome to the forum, you'll love SW as long as you stick to plan the weight will come off. There is also loads of support on here, you may find it helps if you start a diary here.

Thanks everyone! Well I went to SW CLASS TODAY, first weigh-in will be on Tuesday! Fingers crossed for something off - even just a lb a week & I would be happy!!!

That's the right attitude to hv, 1lb a week is 52lbs a year= over 4 stone! good luck this week x
